Anyone like them? They are a post rock math rock intrumental band. At first I didnt really like them but as i listened and listened, their songs kind of became addictive and interesting.
If you dont know them, definatly check them out. Dont just download one song like an idiot though.
Any fans?

in grade 9 our class had to sing out the pythagorean theorem a bunch of times to help remember it, so all i can picture is math rock being the same thing with some limp bizkit instrumentals

Whats wrong with Math Rock? You guys too scared to listen to a new genre? Do you need to go listen to your oldies stuff? Thats ok.
They are just an interesting intrumental band. I just thought I would try to explain them a little. You beatles, peter john and bjorn, cat power fans got a little too scared I guess.
But seriously, try them out.

post rock math rock really doesnt sound appealing to me. anyone who self describes there band with a post before the genre name usually tends to suck, but then again, im in a post secondary hardcore laser light show rock instrumental rockish collaberation band

"math rock" has become a meaningless term.
some people say Deerhoof is math rock,
some people say Don Caballero is math rock.
who knows?
i'm guessing from the name this is of the "post-hardcore" variety of math rock.
all i am sure of is that it seems terribly unlikely
any band named "65 Days Of Static" is any good.

Ok, forget the fucking math rock. Its just a term used to describe music with wierd tempos and all.
They are more interesting than the over-rated explosions in the sky to me.
And why don't you guys actually check them out, then bash the name and all.

I bet you listened to it once. You need to open up a little and stop judging things. It's not garbage. At first I didn't like it either, but it seemed to get better each time I listened.
Its ok if you don't like it, thats fine but I wouldn't call it garbage.

I post here for a lot of reasons.
Because people here can answer skate related and non-related questions is a big one. Another one is there are idiots who listen to what ever was in a skate video (cough cough BLOC PARTY cough) and they think they know all about music and call random stuff that was never associated with skating "garbage" like some kind of smart ass.
