Title: A couple LA bank spots
Post by: handsclapanin on August 15, 2014, 09:56:27 AM
Can any LA pals help me track down these 2 spots?
I will gladly share my knowledge of San Diego spots in return, if needed.
Thanks

#2: The first spot he hits at 0:30. Downhill ledge to bank.

1st spot is pretty close to where I live. It's on Jefferson and West. If you take the Expo line to culver city and get of on La Brea, it's a couple of blocks away.

This is the address of the house right by it 3062 West View St. if you'd like to look it up on goggle maps.

There's a free app that tells you all the spots in LA.

Good luck at that first spot, it's 100000000000000 times gnarlier in person than it looks on film.  Ground is absolute shit and the monster is pretty much vert.

saw a photo from the jon sciano interview in the new thrasher where the first spot has a fence put up behind it now, still looked skatable, but dippin the board might not fly

for the 2nd one i think you're referring to the screenshot of the vid - which is on main in Venice, but is now knobbed.  i don't know where it is either, but the one at :30 is not in Venice

That seems to be the case with most banks. They never look as steep in photos/film as in real life.

Yeah, not the hip to rail. I'm old. That is way too gnarly for me. They also skate the downhill bank to ledge spot I'm looking for in that new Palace video, Endless Bummer.
