t-funk rips and holy shit bobby got realllll fucking good
-
fuck yea, both these kids rule
-
tfunk: looking forward to him being a foot taller
dekay: dc finally bought themselves a dylan and a suciu in one swoop
final verdict: that was sick
-
god damn! thats got to be one of the best web clips on the year.
-
Damn!
-
I predict Funkhouser to be as good as Westgate when he grows up, he also kickflips better than I ever will.
-
Did Bobby just fakie flip over the glass at roy thompson hall? Holy fuck
-
That fakie flip was too real
-
link is not working- video is private..... :'(
-
dekeyser soze and the little soulless one have the potential to make it into the elite ranks. looking forward to more from them.
-
bobby part was great, love that elliott song. dudes gonna kill it in the future.
-
Vidjya's gone... anyone got a working link?
-

Haha, sick!
-
Goodness. T-Funk reminds me of Mariano in Video Daze but that's probably just because he kind-of looks like him, rips, and is tiny. Dekyzer seems so incredibly comfortable on a skateboard...ledge dancing done right. This is killer.
-
Damn! Bobby killed it. The future is looking bright!
-
So many delicious ledge lines. Bobby is fucking amazing.
-
it sez video private, wut da hale?
-
bobbys trick selection is immaculate. kinda surprised they took down the video, apparently it was supposed to be out a little while ago so im not sure what the issue is. hopefully it will be back up later today.

it wasn't supposed to go up today, the video was unlisted and i guess the link got out.

It wasn't suppose to be posted today. You can catch Bobby fucking destroy Europe tomorrow.

that was a weird pop shuv
-
I think I just watched that fakie flip gif about 55 times at work. So magical.

Never understood why the fuck it matters if a video like this gets on youtube a day or two before they've planned to premiere it. What do they win by taking it of for a few hours?

Hmm first time i accidentally leaked a part.

Probably one of the most ridiculous things I've read on here.
-
god damn im excited to get to see this.
-
I like T-Funk. He's got some speed and power for such a little guy.
Bobby has fast feet, but his style's a little off to me - his upper body is always stiff, I don't really get it.

yeah... Bobby's amazing, but he's gotta grind those ledges a tad more in his lines... it was almost annoying to see him bonk the ledge over and over. phenomenal skating otherwise
-
Bobby has has the most autistic style

It's back up
DC SHOES: DE FUNKT INTRODUCING TRISTAN FUNKHOUSER & BOBBY DE KEYZER (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_S46UZUtHg&feature=youtu.be#)
Might think about getting my first pair of dc's since 99.
-
wow, that was on another leve. bobby coming in strong like leabres and joslin with an incredible intro part. can't praise him enough

re watched his blue tile part and have to agree with you.
his tall style looks much better when filmed on vx.
-
They both killed it. Love Bobby's lines.
I heard t-funk is 17 but that just doesn't seem right to me. Looks 14 tops. Hopefully dude hits a late growth spurt.
-
Talk about polar opposites...
First the short kid with power (this kid is going to grow into a monster) then the tall lanky guy with finesse...
Both of them killed it in their own way.
-
The future is looking bright!
-
Well if fuckin liked that.
All of it.
-

Little Louie i was amazed when i saw him on weekend buzz and heard he was 17, i thought he was 12. He def grew since though. Even if Funkhouser doesn't get much taller, he'll forsure add more power as he ages, its not like Westgate is a giant.
Bobby Dekeyzer's destroyed bickford, those 3 tricks were insane.
-
The catch on that fakie flip over the rail :o
-
That fakie flip is beyond fucked
-
T-funk was boring but no doubt will grow up to be a beast.
That second kid was mind blowing. One of my favorite parts all year. To quote King of the Hill: hhhhwhat in the hell Bobby?
-
Holocaust skateboards Introduces bobby de Keyser! Dude better eat something, quick
-
BD's body varial revert over that rail in spain was confusing and awesome
-
How about that bs pop shove it to bs nose grind 180 out? I'm a believer.
-
Im definitely a bigger fan of TFunk than dekyzer but that fronstide halfcab to 5-0 back to switch was so sick
-
Bobby was bananas. That little fucker is going to be real good.
-
So many good E Smith songs that haven't been used and they have to use this one?! ??? It really is difficult for people in skateboarding to think for themselves isn't it.

t-funk is growing on me, just hope he doesnt turn out to be a shitty baker kid.
bobby is obviously very good, jut unappealing to me. just rigid and uncomfortable.
-
ripping!
-
t-funk in wes kremer are secretly father and son
-
Funkhouser absolutely reminds me of Dressen. Even if he isn't as young as everyone assumes, his skating's still gonna be a lot more mature in a few years, and I look forward to seeing it. And I like his attitude too.
Deykeyzer blows. His natural style is stiff and awkward, and then he slathers the affected "stylish" composed push/arms on top of it. Really going for that "copy of a copy" vibe, pulling more from Austyn than Dylan.. A lot of his trick selection is awful, some of the "tasteful tech" ledge tricks ala Puig/mid-'90s Mariano were fine, and for neither better or worse that fakie flip b/s shifty was pretty out of left field/straight out of PJLWHL. He would be 25% cooler if he stopped doing 180 no complies altogether. There's a chance that he eventually and legitimately matures in say five years, using his obvious talents for some top tier, original skating, but I'm not holding my breath. I can acknowledge the fact that it really is THAT much harder to be born Canadian and be attempting to shoot for "cool skater".
-
THAT FIRST LITTLE KID WAS A HARSH MIX OF GREG MYERS AND KNOX GOODY
WASNT INTO THAT SHIT AT ALL
AND AS MUCH AS I DIDNT WANNA LIKE THE 2ND DUDE FUCK IT HE WAS ON FUCKING FIRE THAT SHIT WAS GNARLY WELL DESERVED !
-
And if that confused and insecure Canadian teenager really is going to be one of the faces of a new Alien Workshop, please, Hill and Carter, just cut your losses now. You guys had a COOL RUN; let the legacy of Alien mature more like 101 and less like Blind.
-
Didn't know T Funk had that kind of variety. That was sick.
Can't remember ever seeing footage of Bobby before, but he killed it too.
-
Never watched a part from that Bobby dude until yesterday but he's a new favorite. So many tricks had a "holy fuck?!" aspect to it. Endless lines. Fs halfcab 5-0 bs180 super casual, body varial revert, fakie flip shifty, half cab flips popped waist high!
-
First Mac now Elliott.. Can Bobby please stop using good songs that don't fit in his parts?
-
Both of these kids are sick as hell, in their own way. This Dekeyzer kid is particularly good. Insane runs with nice pop on his flips.

dekeyzer sose killed it-reminds me a lot of austyn but just as good. a new favorite for sure
-
That was amazing. Didn't know t-funk was that good and well rounded. That Bobby dude is just insanely casual, loved the instant push after the sw smith 180. Hoping he won't go the same route as Dylan or Austin with his style.

can we just talk about the fakie noseblunt at 8:38?

pleasantly surprised at how good T-Funk was and was going to just skip that second part...holy hell i'm glad i didnt. Bobby D killed it! so many insane ledge tricks and lines. just buy him some pants that arent pastel blue too small chinos and i can enjoy it more.
-
That was a good watch. T-Funk's balls clearly haven't dropped yet, 17 or not. See how small he looked next to Wes. He rips.
Quick feet on Bobby. He's yr man with piano keys for teeth.
-
^^^The fuck! How is he 17 years old. I was thinking he was going to do a Nyjah and get rid of the little kid thing later in life but now I have my doubts.
-
Bobby does shit that is so fucked, but it looks so easy that it doesn't even register. It'd take me twenty tries to do one of his simpler tricks on a ledge. Forget about in a line hauling ass. Digging him.
I like Funkhouser's name, so I'm rooting for him. Impressive for a little dude. My brother is of a similar build and looks sixteen even though he's twenty six. Even if the kid style never goes away, he skates comically fast and is fun to watch. No face tats though, young T Funk.
-
Have you heard him talk? He's barely pubescent. He'll grow.
-
Bobby's front feeble kick flip fakie was impressive.

Did you even read my post? There was no hating at all in it. I think his new footage is super sick, but i'm just saying that he used to be someone who mostly just did single tricks, like mostly sets/gaps. From watching his old stuff, it's surprising that he skates how he does now, and that's not a bad thing. I'm hyped he skates how he does now because it's sick, i'm just saying that it didn't look like he would, based on his other footage.

Dc really has an incredible team if you think about it. I like t funk cuz Im also a kind of a "late bloomer"/look way younger than I am. That shit is no fun as a teenager yo. It's gonna take another couple views to fully process Bobby's stuff, wow.

He sure dresses like austyn, but he always throws his arms down by his side after he lands tricks. It looks really unnatural to me kinda like what nordberg does
-
both those dudes are sick but will hopefully age into a more natural flow. t-funk definitely has the hurried push ala leo, but makes up for it with the same gusto and heart in each trick. other people have called bobby out on the weird arm/upper body motions; seems like he's overthinking that, but maybe it's all part of his balance. in any case, he's got those certain tricks down: shuv nosegrind reverts and halfcab flips for days. and that impossible up the long 6 at frankfurter tor! insane that people are doing shit up that nowadays...i got an ollie down that back in 09 and was pretty happy with that lol.

I saw T Funk in Tampa and yea he looks and sounds all of about 13 (whens he's not on the board). He was drinkin beers, smokin weed, and generally actin all tough while looking like Doogie Howser. I'm sure he'll sprout suddenly and he's gonna be fucking gnarly.

4 pages deep and not one mention of how awesome it is that a Funkadelic track got used?! God damn, Elliot Smith's music and the people that dig it are so incredibly lame

yah...180 no complys are getting super played out. But I actually love the dude's trick selection. He knows whats up and has a great eye. Can't really say much about the kid's arms, I'm not here to 'nit-pick people's style', BUT I was really surprised how mature and awesome the first kid's style is considering all the talk leading up to this was about how he's such a puny runt.
Both guys kill it. One's gonna grow up to be a super gnardog and the other one's already a hipster. Both of their images appeal to certain people on here, add em up and it accounts for 98% Slap approval one way or the other. Good going DC
-
The amplified pop and land sounds in post ruined it for me. Skaters fucking know that every trick doesn't sound like the crispiest most perfect trick ever done. Its almost as bad as trying to pass off CGI as real. T-Funk rips tho, don't care about the other dude.

-
Are people really hating on T-Funk's style for being short as if that's something he has any control over? Dude did some grown man tricks with grown man style in a little kid body. That's pretty sick if you ask me.
Another funny thing I noticed. If you look in the Felipe True thread, everybody is bitching about the way he just barely taps ledges- but that dude looks like Brian Wenning at his prime compared to the way Bobby Dekeyzer just barely bonks those things, yet nobody says a word. I like both of them a lot, and think Bobby's part in this was amazing, and that Felipe's part in true was amazing. I just find it funny how one thread is filled with that hate, and the other has none at all. Its almost like a completely different group of people are responding to this part and the Felipe one.
-
the kids appear to be alright.
-
T-Punk is pretty sick for a 13 year old. That Bobby dude is fucked. Sick flip trick pop and some cool ledge trick. Mark Baines pulled of Happiness way better though.
-
T-funk is probably still so short cause of he's constantly smoking weed and drinking, that shit fucks up your growth and he's probably gonna stay pretty small if this is what he looks like at 17.

i just got around to watching this and yeah there were alot of bonks. one of my main issues with the gustavo part was that it's for the plan b video so my standards for it were higher. and now i'm cursed with having to pay attention to how long someone grinds for for all eternity. but i guess i always did that.
anyway i'm definitely going to watch this part again, bobby killed it even with the bonks, seemed to have alot of variety and skates nice and fast. the future looks sick. switch back smith front 180? get the fuck outta here.

I know in Bobby's Blue Tile part that some of the ledges he skates are really close together. The courthouse benches where he does the line with the kf back noseblunt in Toronto are a good example of how good this kid is. The ground is really rough and there isn't much time at all to set up in between benches. In cases like that it's almost impossible to grind the entire bench. He's still young, so I'm sure it's just a matter of time before he starts grinding most of his tricks a bit more when possible.

Some people just refuse to see the truth. Felipe did Nollie flip crooked nollie flip out and grinded the entire stair ledge. No shit you have to tap grind when you're doing nollie/fakie tre back 5-0s, silly silly opinions. Next thing you'll hear is that Torey slides for too long.

i just got around to watching this and yeah there were alot of bonks. one of my main issues with the gustavo part was that it's for the plan b video so my standards for it were higher. and now i'm cursed with having to pay attention to how long someone grinds for for all eternity. but i guess i always did that.
anyway i'm definitely going to watch this part again, bobby killed it even with the bonks, seemed to have alot of variety and skates nice and fast. the future looks sick. switch back smith front 180? get the fuck outta here.
I know in Bobby's Blue Tile part that some of the ledges he skates are really close together. hahahaha, now not only did people not mention it, but when I do, they come up with excuses for why its ok if Bobby does it, but not Felipe. Too funny. You guys are looking too hard for a reason to hate on Felipe.

well it's like corey kennedy's sasquatch part. alot of his tricks had big tic tacs or didn't grind super well or whatever. i didn't care, it was still rad and it wasn't hyped up for years. if he did tricks that way for pretty sweet i wouldn't be that stoked and would probably say something.
maybe i don't like gustavo, maybe i don't like ledge tricks grinding less than a foot. there was enough going on in bobby's part that the short grinds didn't feel like most of what was happening. gustavo's seemed to be only short grinds, but maybe that's because i read the comment pointing out that fact before i watched the video.
can you think of any other video parts where the grinds were as short as in gustavo's part? maybe i just want everyone to be marc johnson

I'll repeat this again. Felpie, Nollie Flip Crook Nollie Flip, 6 foot long stair ledge, grinds whole ledge. Go do Nollie Varial Crook and tell me how long you grind.

Wait Tristan's SPOT profile says he's 17. Is that right?
I thought he was like 13 or 14. Is this another Louie Lopez scenario where everyone thinks he's a kid but he's actually just a dwarf?

Prime Wenning, IMO, is DC video Wenning. He does have a lot of short grinds but he also has some long ones. Felipe is a beast, not my favorite skater by any means, a lot of the shit he did was insane but they were all 2 foot Mike York grinds. Comparing Bobby and Felipe, to me Bobby's style flows more and he didn't skate to some lame Officer Ricki song. Felipe is also pro for Plan B and Bobby is now an AM for DC. Couldn't tell you his board sponsor.

I never said a word about Felipe. I'm just pointing out that some spots and tricks are tough to grind long. Also that Bobby is young and will improve with time. I haven't watched Felipe's latest part so I can't even comment on why people are hating on it.

That's fair, and I don't have a problem with how Bobby skates, I just think its hilarious how in one thread people are bitching about nollie 360 flip back 5-0's being too short, but here nobody really seems to in the same angry way.

Crazy, maybe he does know the meaning behind the words in the song he's skating to then. ("Super stupid got a nickel bag, thought it was coke but it was scag")

I think he was like 16 or something. I remember adding up the year born and year died in the end credits and he was older than he looked. He was super young in Ban This.

I can't understand how so many grown-ass men judge 17/18 year olds so hard... Ninejah included!!!
That being said, this was amazing. Tfunk is amazing. Bobby is amazing. They both skate so proper (let alone being that young...)
I love skateboarding, fuck.

Pretty sure guy was 14-15 for the filming for Video days considering he was born in 76. T-Funk was 16 for most of the filming for this so not a massive age different.
