How many more people will go pro before agenda is through?
-
Obviously well deserved.
Let's hope Ed is jogging from booth to booth at agenda
-
He looks like a giddy schoolboy who just got a valentine card from the girl he has a crush on.
-

I don't know, but this is definitely a good one
-
very well deserved. just blake and jordan left of that generation now?
-
Deserved.
Toy Machine's graphics should climb out of the shitter.
-
TOTALLY DESERVED, sick dude
-
Nordberg next ? ;D
-
Well deserved for sure, they should put Tre Williams on soon
-
tight for him but that graphic sucks. it seems like ed put more effort in dakotas then jeremy's
-
He earned it for sure.
-
He earned it for sure.
sarcasm?
-
Dude's one of my favorites from the past few years but how long was he am for? Seems a bit premature. And how much money is Toy Machine making? That makes 9 pros and theyll end up adding another am here soon probably. Their soft goods must sell really well
-
Well deserved!
-
sarcasm?
Why would it be sarcasm? Jeremy did what you gotta do to turn pro these days. He released two outstanding video parts back to back. Just because he did it in a shorter amount of time than most people doesn't mean he doesn't deserve it.
Well deserved indeed. Now Carpenter next please!

I'm sure they'll get rid of some dead weight soon, Maybe Billy and Josh to make room for the new guys.
-
That was fast..
-
I forgot toy machine exists though it's still pretty good
-
Could Ed think of nothing more interesting to represent this kid's personality for his debut graphic?

this is kinda surprising, i think jordan taylor shoulda went pro way before him

You'll be surprised who they gave the boot...

Ed Templeton just posted a picture of Josh and his new pro board on instagram, so you're off the mark. Billy Marks? Johnny Layton?

Johnny will have footage in Vans, and Josh could potentially be in some montage I guess. I think Josh is a lifer a la Austin Stephens, he was one of the first riders on Ed's new gen Toy Machine.

I back toy 100%, it's all I've been skating for the past 2 years. I love the graphics and I like supporting the dudes on the team. Mostly skated Collin's boards this past year. This would've been my next board. Too bad about the graphic :-[
-
Toy Machine's graphics should climb out of the shitter.
they've been pretty bad for a while now. i'll always be hyped when i see someone skating a fists board or a monster board, but as for new graphics i feel as if they've really lost that rawer weird vibe they put out in the mid 90s early 00s. the only guys on toy nowadays that i feel actually represent the company are templeton, bennett and taylor, but i guess toy's just evolved into something else.

hes good, but i dont care.

Maybe Ed will pull a Heath and retire. He is getting up there in age, broke his leg pretty badly and has been focused on his art. I could see it happening.

It's been discussed before how Ed himself has been wanting to drop his name from the Pro ranks but there's always been a high demand for his boards (with his name being one if not the highest seller) that it'd be illogical to do so. If it helps keep Toy afloat, why not? Ed's a pretty humble guy which is rad. He knows he's not keeping up with skateboarding, skill-wise, by any means. I can't see anyone on the Toy roster not being on the team anymore.. everyone fits so well. It even feels strange not seeing Stephens and The Butcher on the line-up.

J-Lay of Toy, hes what you call a "street pharmaceutical"

Wouldn't be surprised if they dropped billy marks
-
I fully back the dude, but this is definitely too soon. Needs to put out at least one more part
-
One of the best. Someone slap those sunnies off his head tho
-
Looks like Figgy, Provost and Beach sat him down for a fashion makeover.

I agree. They Wet Willified Turtle Boy and the Transistor character and are just cranking out as many graphics featuring those two as possible. It's just iterations of the same thing over and over with a different pros name.
Foundation seems to be coming back to life in some capacity, and with AWS and Habitat with Tum Yeto now hopefully it sparks something with Toy Machine's graphics. Healthy competition and whathaveyou.

wouldve thought blake wouldve went pro first, but hyped for jeremy.
my guess is billy got the boot.
-
Damn, I would be a little bummed if I was Blake or Jordan right now , they've been on for like 5 years , Jeremy was made am when Made Came out right? Not undeserved skill wise but definitely premature.

How would that be "pulling a Heath"? Ed's been over the hill for years skate-wise. He should always keep putting out pro boards IMO, but I'd say Heath had two more legit video parts left in him...Ed, not so much.
-
Hating on Toy Machine is lame.
-
It does seem a bit premature. However, the entire reason for going pro is that there is a demand for product with your name on it. So they must be hearing from a lot of folks eager to buy this dude's board.
-
I think with Toy's graphics, whatever software ed is using he's putting textured backgrounds to his drawings which gives it a different vibe than the solid backgrounds on a lot of 90's toy graphics. It would be nice to have solid colored backgrounds and more wood grain. The YOLO selfie suicide deck and mullet dude JLay decks are pretty good. Couple gems here and there.
I like to skate fist and monster decks. Love the wood grain, classic look
Plus ed has said a couple times they don't have money to pay other artists for board series too often, but a collab with another artist or new partnership could refresh how the boards look.

Colin Provost on Baker

Dude has two solid parts, remember that Alec Majerus has one and torned pro for flip.
-
Colin Provost on Baker
doesn't seem too far-fetched

Colin Provost on Baker
Doesn't Reynolds pay everyone the same? That's stupid since there is no incentive to get more coverage and adds to piling out. Bad business decisions imo

well that is quite a surprise

Jeremy Leabres is one of the few "newer" guys that I absolutely love watching. Yes, they did turn him pro pretty quickly compared to a lot of other skaters that have had to wait, but he has amazing style and has never came out with anything that has be sub-par, it's always blowing my mind. I'm excited for it and will definitely buy his board if it's the right size. I mainly skate Toy Machine anyway when my shop has em.
Whoever said something about Alec Majerus, that dude went pro super quick. But, he is also doing heavier shit than anybody in terms of chronology. Within a year he has done more crazy shit then most people in a lifetime and he's from Minnesota... it snows a good 5-6 months out of the year here in the midwest.
As for Ed, I love him dearly, and I am hoping that he will always have a board with Toy. It's the principal. I feel like Toy is a family more-so than other brands, they actually hangout and skate together and the team vibe is always tight.
-
'Toy Machine' is the working title for Johnny's first film with Brazzers.
-
He's off the team page too. Bummer...

-
he seemed like a snug fit on toy, that sucks. hope he is somehow staying on vans
-
Johnny of toy. I really hope FA does that nude wiener graphic as hid first board. That would be hot fire.
-
is johnny layton still on vans?

no..........hes off fool.
-
J-Lay lost his two biggest sponsors? I find that extremely hard to believe. If he's a free agent any company that doesn't pick him up is an idiot.
-
A quick google search has him still listed as pro on the Vans sight, repping Toy Machine on his social media, and some nsfw images.
-
J lay hasn't been mentioned on this board for reasons besides his dick in a long time. Shout out to all of you pretending like you give a fuck about this dude. It's cute.

I actually do give a fuck about this dude. Anytime I run by a j-lay board in my preferred size I buy it without hesitation. If vans still made his shoe that's all I would skate. It was my favorite vans shoe. If he's not in the vans video I will genuinely be bummed/pissed. Him and Dollin are the parts I'm most looking forward to.

i was one to say that i was sick of hearing and seeing that dick pic in the forum and always posted his footage as a response. Anyways if he indeed piled im sure he has alot footage. Actually we need to turn this into a appreciation thread. i still want to see alot of the tricks that havent made it to video (to my knowledge)
