Post by: ScumbagSaV on June 12, 2015, 09:16:04 PM
Have always loved how these look but just havent grasped the technique yet. I been practicing on this box i got but my board either slides out as soon as i connect or it just sticks & tosses me.
Suggestions?

I actually just learned them on a parking block yesterday.

But basically I just kept ollieing into blunt stalls going completely perpendicular towards the parking block. I kinda practiced that for a while until I could lock in every time. Then I started coming at slight angles, progressively more parallel to the parking block. They are awesome dude, I think you can do it man. Just keep trying and trying

I'm still working on getting bluntslides but using a parking block is a great tip. Try centering your weight over the heel of your back foot. Someone watching me learn them told me that and it instantly made a difference in my ability to actually slide a bluntslide once locked in.
