Paraphrasing here, but I remember an interview saying they wanted to change the team direction to include more traditional/normal street skaters (for lack of a better word).
There was previous thread about their team changes not long ago that was pretty lengthy- if anyone would like to post the link.

Ryan Lay is supposed to turn pro in January, pro part and all...stay tuned
Edit: Isn't kinda funny that welcome had all this hate for not having pros, then randomly they start turning people pro. Does anyone else think that the two coincide?
