I have a feeling WKND is about to get serious...

Fat and wack

Fat and wack
Don't talk about Ed like that. Smh.
-
Jordan is sick! way better than that burnout Nick Trapasshole.
-
who?
-
I was just thinking the other day how perfect he'd be on WKND. Sucks that he put in all that time on Toy Machine, only for the team to change so drastically that he's out of place.
Jordan Taylor - Brainwash (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLRUOEVczjg#)
EDIT: Off the team page.
-
He should of had a pro board years ago, don't know if WKND will give him one or any of their other riders anytime soon but it seems like a good fit
-
I didnt remember that part at all, thanks for posting it! This guy kills it!
-
Awesome. Man deserves some shine. Glad to see JT making some positive moves
-
Austyn Gillette is going to WKND too.
-
My roommate just said he's "fat and talent-less" cause Nick Trappaso said so but I'm drunk and life is weird so whatever and Star Wars wasn't that bad and I might text my ex-girlfriend tonight.

I back this guy.

Austyn is supposedly their first pro.
Wknd sells a lot of boards. Despite their low key attitude, they are one of the top selling board brands. About to blow up!

whereabouts do you live? i've only seen one in the wild in the northeast. glad to hear they're doing well in other places though.
-
i really hope this isn't true. he was one of the biggest reasons to be psyched on Toy Machine... even though we haven't seen much of him since Brainwash.
WKND sucks and so does RipNDip... those dudes are serious kooks that somehow managed to dupe everyone into thinking they're cool when they're snooty dickwads that don't know shit about real skateboarding (but their last video was good!)

RipNDip definitely sucks, but those are two unrelated things. WKND has a great team, great boards, great graphics, and puts out great video content regularly, what is not to like?

It's 2016, when your Man Am is producing you need to turn him pro. If you can't, let him bounce.
-
I see a lot of kids riding their boards in LA, but to be fair, those kids are also wearing those stupid as fuck overalls.
Serious question: don't those things limit your movement? Do you have to unbuckle the whole shebang to take a shit? I guess the 90s are back. I can't wait for the jock resurgence so we can get called skater fags again.

A shop in town has the Bundys deck for super cheap, and I've been debating pulling the trigger on it. Anyone have any opinions?

This time around the jocks will be calling us fags while they where janoskis and DC t shirts

Grant Yansura on iwishiliveinfinland's bitch, confirmed.
-
Where's the Kelly Bundy deck

I hope he gets on somewhere that will give him good exposure. Has a great style

rewatch suffer the joy and comeback, Jordan Taylor is sick but Trapasso may be alot of things (an asshole, unable to grasp basic comedy and an IQ lower than forest gump) but he is also an insanely talented on the board with an amazing style.

As mentioned, RIP N DIP and WKND are not affiliated. Grant Yansura jumps into this in a fairly recent interview, in which he discusses how him and the guys that were affiliated, i.e. Stuckey, and even the likes of Gillette and Molinar, stopped associating with them, as the brand went in a truly "cool guy" direction, along with the whole cat and alien art direction. Honestly, the whole WKND team, image, production is great, along with the fact that everyone on the team rules. I am backing it 100%, and am very glad to set up my new WKND board. I sort of view the team as just a bunch of outcast nerds who wanted to do something cool. And again, I think that people like Molinar, Gillette, and sometimes Stuckey accidentally give off that image of being snooty, simply because of their public image, which sometimes works against people, i.e. Rieder. The brand is certainly refreshing. And for Jordan Taylor, Toy Machine royally fucked up by not turning him pro. So now, with him on WKND, he will become even more relevant, along with constantly producing, as this brand seems to stay busy.
-
wknd rules. Had no idea Taylor wasnt pro.
-
I thought Stuckey got kicked off of HUF because he decided to ride for WKND? I guess their standards change if you're a Gillete caliber skater, or if dude is already under contract because they have a pro shoe. HUF is coming off really lame right about now.
-
his brainwash part is legitimately one of my favorite parts ever. bums me out to hear this because i love toy, but going to WKND is rad as well
-
ed templeton interviews him in the new thrasher. not saying him leaving isn't true, but thought it was interesting

I thought Stuckey got kicked off of HUF because he decided to ride for WKND? I guess their standards change if you're a Gillete caliber skater, or if dude is already under contract because they have a pro shoe. HUF is coming off really lame right about now.
I don't know if thats true but Ryan Lay got kicked of huf because he started to ride for Welcome and huf said that brand wasn't a legit board sponsor

It happened with Ryan Lay but I'm also pretty sure Johan went thru the same thing but with Wknd in his case.

I remember Johan was on skate talk and this was the time he was roger. Well Huf said to Johan if he doesn't leave roger he will get dropped by huf so thats when Johan stayed on habitat flow forever

Ed asked Jtay to get deeper into his homoerotic wet dreams and he refused. He kicked himself off toy to show is a loyal pawn of the poon. Fact, wait for the ride channel special press release.

It's in here that Stuckey talks about Huf. It sounds like they were in limbo with him and the team, even though he definitely fit on Huf. WKND is definitely a "major" board company, as you can get the boards all over.

Or maybe all the "skater fags" will take up traditional team sports and get picked on by jock skaters. They'll drive by in their SUVs and yell out the window "Do a slam dunk!" as they head to the skate park.

Ed literally says "Let's get weird" before those questions haha Ed also asks Taylor if he considers himself a man-am. Maybe that got him thinking about his future. Here's the full interview. Johan left huf to get on habitat shoes so he could be on the deck team too, austyn left and they had no reason to fukk with stuckey so he got on neither and that put him at the end of the line for huf

He's in Florida with wknd right now and so is austyn gillette.

You're talkining about the first time Stuckey left Huf, correct? Because up until the summer of 2015, he was definitely on Huf Flow.
And yes, Gillette is currently on that WKND Trip!

Skating the 8.5 Seinfeld shaped deck right now and it's one of my favorite boards ever. I'm probably going to get another one next time I need a new board, I'm super stoked on this company and even moreso now that Austyn and Jordan Taylor might be on.
