Title: Are Silver Trucks any good?
Post by: UserFame on March 29, 2016, 12:58:37 AM
I like  technical skating, and I have some Indepents high, wich are not very good for making tecnical tricks, and now I have the chance to change them for some mid Silver trucks, should I do it?

It's all in your mind.

You might as well buy those royals from skatewarehouse that no one wants to buy.

Add to that 90% of the sk8mafia team, Tom Penny, Chico Brenes, Bobby Worrest, etc... Plenty good tech skaters are on the indy program. But if you're looking for lighter trucks, I'd get thunders.

My friend that usually skates with me has some M Class Dyrdek (ugliest trucks ever) that were gifted and he likes them, but i fucking hate those trucks... No turn whatsoever and they are a little loose actually. No stability, Wheelbite land. Really bad trucks.

Go with thunders or ventures... They turn good and are stable.

Its not gonna make a difference unless they're lows. The problem isn't the brand

Ha, I bought some. They're super old 6 holes. Switched out the bushings and threw them on a cruiser. $10 trucks man, couldn't pass it up.

i didnt know they were still making them
Got a free pair from a friend a while ago, only pair of them ive ever had, and the axle bent maybe not even 2 months into skating them...
Same happened to me with multiple pairs of Royals.

Thunders have never let me down since

Ace, Indy, Krux, and Thunder are the only trucks worth buying.

I was surprised Kakis would let them run an ollie ad like this
(http://www.silvertrucks.com/images_wallpaper/silver_kalis_1920.jpg)

When he's done this

Not hating, the ollie looks pretty far but in comparison to other stuff he's done, just thought he would pick something a little more fitting of his caliber of skating.

I think it's more surprising that Silver could afford to run a 2 page ad...
