this album is really strange. the production is really weird, retro sounding. not sure how I feel about it but definitely interesting.

Atmosphere is great. Pick up "You Can't Imagine How Much Fun We're Having". It's their newest CD. Been out for awhile though. All of their albums are great, except for "Seven's Travels". It was too weird. Epitaph must've made them act up.

I'm not really feeling the atmosphere vibe. i've never caught a show but the albums just dont do it, possibly just too hyped up for me.

Haha.  You've set your bar pretty high if you're looking for the next Illmatic now.  Besides The Infamous, Enter the 36 Chambers, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, and MAYBE Liquid Swords, nothing has and ever will match what you're setting out to hear.  You're only setting yourself up for disappointment.

I was pretty into MF Doom for a bit, but he's kind of slipping lately.  I'm hoping the next Madvillain will rekindle those feelings.  www.hiphopsite.com has a pretty spot-on review team for their "In the Deck" section, so just give that site a view if you're feeling stuck.  They provide audio clips as well.

Fuck, all of those guys on that show blow so much dick it's unbelievable.  They have no concept of tempo or bars whatsoever.  Watching them battle at St. Andrew's Hall in Detroit was just hilarious to me, especially when Shamrock was "freezin on the set!"

There is no way I would ever consider Ironman in the same league as those others.  I'd say Supreme Clientele was more consistent than Ironman, but even still not enough to warrant being on my top hip-hop albums list.

'supreme clientele' is not only ghostface's best, it's one of the best hip hop albums of the '00s. and even though people pass off 'ironman', it's a pretty solid album.

also redcurb, how come you say "maybe" before 'liquid swords'? it's a masterpiece!

project pat is the best rapper in the world at this moment

that was just plain stupid, he's good and the latest album is banging but he still got nothing on the Wu, Big L, Nas and many more

Public Enemy
New World Order

It's not brand new but definitely feels new to any Public Enemy fans. It dropped in 2005 and I think is one of their better disc. Anyone into it?

"yeah i was thinkin like jada, is pretty much crazy you know. Nas, is like pretty much crazy, ghostface killa, and umm, Jay-Z, and um one more, it was like a toss up, because i was really feelin this kid saigon, you ever hear of saigon? This kid, hes ill. To me,  the depth that that kid has is rediculous"... - Q tip from a hot 97 call in...Q TIP

some saigon spits

"the fourth question is a question that still in me, who do you all niggas think it was that killed biggie?
A, southside crips cause puffy owed him a grip
B, some crazy pac fan who flipped and unloaded a clip
C, missles from pistols from goverment officals
D, the same cat that came back and sang i miss you..."

saigon brought back kool g rap, in the track "the letter P". both verses are out of hand.

and to who hated on papoose, shame on you

"criminal minds scheme with the plots of the witty,
you send a coward to capture the brave what a pitty
creep behind a female cop, cock somethin pretty
hit shots from the semi, watch em pop threw her titties
most of yall cocksuckers sissies,
pour out liquor for those who dropped in the city
im not waistin a drop of the hennie if you aint dropped gettin busy
im a son of a gun so if i go my dads comin with me"

no albums comin from wack labels

all mixtapes

from some dope dj's

this goes for both
