Been wearing adidas in a lot of his recent insta story posts 👎🏻
-
Could see him leaving eS as soon as he got on. No surprise here.
-
FUCK!!!!!!! Was waiting for that pro model!
who is this?
-
could see him on diamond footwear.

Such a huge fan of eS's legacy but they've seriously dropped the ball since they "returned". I mean either come back or don't, don't just come back with this half arsed shoulder shrug of a company. They have one pro, Tom Asta (he's great) and Kelly Hart who is on the team but also team manager..? Player/manager like in football/soccer? I think not having a mega stacked team is a good move, there is no need. But letting Diego slip away is a serious error. He's incredible. I think he's the best Am in the world right now if you like that type of skating. They should have put up some proper money to keep him on. Like someone said above it was just a matter of time. I thought he would have gone to Nike to be honest. Adidas, same difference anyway. Wish eS would either step it up or just bow out, make your fucking mind up.
-
Kelly Hart makes me not like eS one bit
-
man's on primitive though so who cares
-
Sole Tech has to be seriously struggling. I wonder what Don Brown was thinking when be brought back eS.
Also, I wonder how eS would be doing if they just let Koston have part of the company. Would it have mattered or would he have eventually bailed to Nike sans stopover at Lakai?
-
Man I'm kinda bummed. He is someone who could really make the brand shine.
Of course adidas is much greener pastures.

Agreed. Seeing him skate in eS made me actually want a pair. He reminded me of the heydays of the company, but adidas could be a good fit for him. I guess only time will tell.
Also, is Wade D still on eS?
-
Would Paul have a say in this? Obviously Paul is on Nike, but would he want Diego on a bigger brand to turn him pro?

i've wondered about that myself. kockston doesn't strike me as the most loyal dude unless the $$ is high and the status is tops. surely he would have bailed for nike, but i would imagine 'es would have continued to do well.

Wade is still on eS. It sucks Diego left, I liked that he was still on one of the smaller scale shoe companies. eS has taken a bit of a whack shift since they have resurged, it seem like Kelly Hart influenced it into a bit more of a "sporty" brand as Ryan Lay said in his bunt interview. I was really feeling those vulc shoes they had when they first came back. not all these really tech runner style ones.

why? just cuz he can tre blaster better than you?
-
if eS could come back with solid cupsole designs, it'd be a no-brainer keeping them in business.

but it sucks to see him part from es, i thought he was the face of the brand, asta might be their pro dude but this motherfucker had the WHOLE instagram fanbase to keep them alive if they kept him and gaqve him a shoe, now well asta has a lot of responsability cause nobody's buying es' cause of kely jart

Someone posted a photo of his pro board in the "Ams that should/will turn pro in 2017" thread.
I guess he's not technically pro because it hasn't been announced, but he's definitely pro.
-
He is definitely going pro

Maybe my second favorite of all time, right after the Lynx. I'm kind of doubting it, but it would be fucking tight for Wade to get a shoe.

We want the goddamn Creager

I don't really think they could have done anything to keep him other than offering him money that they couldn't afford.
Also do you guys think those shoes would actually do well if es re released them? Or is it more just for your own personal nostalgia? If thats the case then es definitely isn't going to last too long. I personally think doing a bunch of re rer releases is a horrible idea or at least without some major tweaking to the shoe
