how are they in leather versus swede? do they fit snug or loose?

preferably suede, and snug so half a size up would do it.

It seems like alot of people like this shoe. I have two pairs of suede ones and love them. I hope they release some new colorways soon.

Wouldn't they stretch out after wearing and eventually fit perfect?

Yeah I'm trying to get a pair of the Blue suedes ones with the orange stripe. Everyone I know who's had pair of these shoes love em. Oh and ask Issac if he like this shoe!

Ive had three pairs of them in a row. Two suede, and my new ones are brown and made of 'nubuck', I guess its called. My feet are kinda wide but the stretch out after a few days, like most shoes.

I've rocked three straight pairs and will be devestated when they discontinue the model, though I said that about the Staple and then I found the Manchesters. They are my favorite shoe ever. And to answer your question, suede.

Yeah they felt really small at first but strech after a while, now they fit just right. Even though they don´t necessarily look like it, they´re really good for skating. The ones I´m rocking are suede.

They are really narrow. If you wear anything bigger than a 11 I would stay away from them.

These shoes look really bad in the durability department. Do they rip to crap quickly?

they dont have any seams really, so its just wearing through suede. my shoes usually explode on the seams so i think thats its advantage. but yeah, no toe cap or anything, but thats what i like. simple.

Awesome, I just got a pair from SkateWarehouse for $20. I got a 1/2 size up because I have a wide foot.

Ive wanted a pair of Manchesters for a while, but I dont think my shop ever gets them in and I have big feet so they'd look bad.

They're out now. My shop has them for 59 instead of the 54 they sell the normal manchesters for.

I just looked at the Lakai Holiday '06 catalog yesterday and I didn't see the manchesters at all. So I guess you better get them while you can. Overall I wasn't too hyped on most of the shoes, except the second Mariano Fourstar collab. The "Old School" t-shirt is going to sell like crazy too.

Hopefully they're just skipping the season which they did with the Telfords during the Spring season which I don't get since they never seem to take a break from those other models which look like crap to skate in.

how long does a pair of those last? i-path reeds went unskatable in a month, vox hewitt's i've skated for two weeks and they're quite dead.

well not beautiful but kinda lame and not really that cool to look at, the other colors of the shoe are better, but those ones just arent tooo great, and you guys that think they are bangin just have bad taste

Why though? They seem to be a team favorite. Almost everytime you see an ad from of their guys, theyre rocking them. And they seem to be a favorite from everyone on here.

They were the thinnest ,slimmest shoe lakai made before the select stuff. Now all the dudes are skating those howards and mj's. im pretty sure they arent completely axeing the manchesters.

thats vans numbnuts, lakai has barley been around 8 years and has put out no "classic" shoes. i can promise we'll see halfcabs in the future but not any manchesters.
