what brand t-shirts are good? wanna get some plain tees for the summer. I like the way anti-hero's shirts fit. what brand do they print on? how about pocket tees?
-
both Indy and Creature have had plain or minimal pocket t's, i wore a stack of the indy ones before finding RVCA ones to fit better and last longer
-
Both DLX and NHS tee's have a similar fit to Gildan shirts or Hane's beefy tees. The more premium type shirts that RVCA, Volcom, Altamont, Brixton, etc. make are usually some type of tri-blend tee's but they're usually more expensive because of the quality. Personally, I've always liked the premium quality better because it doesn't turn into a crop-top after a few washes.

While it’s being talked about, what does GX print on, their shirts are good

Uniqlo supima tees are sick, just size up one they run small
-
As far as pocket tees, Walmart has been selling these Gildan DryBlend (50/50) 2-packs for like $8-10. They have a bunch of colors and hold up nicely.

Gildan? Masochists
I'm super picky with my shirts and I refuse to wear the 100% cotton Gildans because they feel like cardboard and shrink into a disgusting square shape. But these are good.

what are you doing with your dryer that your gildan shirts shrink? never happened to me

Cold wash, regular dry. To be fair, I haven't given one a try for a couple years (these recent dry blend shirts aside).
-
To extend the life of your t shirts and prevent shrinkage just dry them for 10 minutes to get the wrinkles out and then let them finish on a hanger air drying.

so they have a similar fit but are not the same brand?
I actually like boxy shirts. not into that tight and long fit that most shirts have these days.

100% cotton, or hemp/cotton blends for me only. If I wear shirts with any polyester in them they smell terrible by the afternoon. All cotton t's I can easily wear 2-3 days and they're fine. Plus, organic fabrics wear in and feel better over time, but synthetics just get worse.
-
Dickies makes a solid pocket tee that's longer than average, medium thickness and really soft. Stole a bunch from Walmart and I like them better than Kirkland t's. Kirklands fits good but they feel syntheticy. The dickies ones I have have the tag on the sleeve and not the pocket. Razored of the tag and they look a lot better.

Try fruit of the loom at Walmart. They are great for the summer and so cheap. Eddie bower tall xl (or whatever your size is) is great for that Tom Penny 90s shirt look. Dickies is great for fall/winter or if you don’t mind a heavy shirt. Beefy T in too thick and stuff for me. Gildan makes bomb crew socks for target. Never tried their shirts. I’m a plain t dude. Word.

I've already wasted too much money on shitty plain shirts and it's not even officially summer. Anyone try the new Target brand? Goodworth or Goodfellow? Avoid the Amazonbasics t's, they're absolute garbage and have a weird shape.

How many washes do u guys get out of white tees
I wash em like once twice than in the good will bag....

yeah, synthetics tend to give me that "tang" too. Linen shirts have been treating me good in the summer months. I'm only rocking 3/4 sleeve shirts at the moment though due to a fresh tattoo and the impending summer sun...

Carhartt tees, they run a size big but they're quality

My 7XL is not yet invented.

Best tshirts I bought as of late are Proper shoes tees. Also I have an old Quasi shirt that fits so good. Bumned I did not get more.

Isn't Alstyle the go to for most skateboard shirts?

They wash well and last a long time.

Stafford whites great quality, little pricey but best tees around.
-
favorite brand ive come across is american needle .. it’s 100% cotton, thin, lightweight but feels real dense all at the same time .. expensive but worth it in my opinion
-
most brands make a softer version of a basic cotton tee
gildan has softstyle
port and company has a ringspun soft version
next level and canvas got the soft fit all day
my sonic youth shirt is a bay island, never seen those but its a nice shirt
i screenprint for a living so i can talk shirts all fucking day sadly
ive shrunk too many shirts so now they all hang dry
holler at a local printer and you may be able to get shirts at close to cost- most cheap blanks run $2-7 depending on the style brand etc etc
cotton is considered the worlds dirtiest plant
mad gmos, pesticides.
...in my white tee

Went with a Stafford 4 pack, comfort soft ones, not the heavyweights. 100% cotton, $28 for the pack but they’ll last. Support your local JC Penny.
I couldn’t find anything worthwhile at Target, as everything was a poly blend and I know those Hanes and Fruit of the loom packs are garbage.
