So some dude in Chile licensed the assets from who? Street corner? So they can ride the coattails of the shell of an American brand. Thats just how business works.
Somebody somewhere is still printing old given and blueprint graphics for whatever reason. That’s just the way the industry is these days.
What’s interesting is these South Americans rebooting brands. The same thing recently happened with fallen. The scene must be popping.
-
I heard they’re changing the name to Pensar.
-
seems fine, i hope someone reboots PassPort too
-
hopefully they reboot the drug operation as well
-
Since when was Think a drug front? Can someone enlighten me...

I thought so those given transfers were old stock. Someone's really actively printing those?
Did Mike Giant do that ThinK logo? I know he worked for Think, but who drew that Think font? Anyone know?

Yes, Mike Giant, who was a house artist for Think back in the mid-90s, did the Think "tag" Logo. I believe he also did the lightbulb logo. I believe he made $10 an hour. At the speed which Mike draws, which is very rapid, he probably got paid about $6 for the logo.
Interesting side note: Mike Giant is (or at least was) a misogynistic egomaniacal asshole.

Go on...

I do NOT mean to imply anything violent or physically abusive.
I just know several people through skating and graffiti who had unpleasant things to say about him back in the day and sometimes feel I compelled to mention it when people are jocking Rebel 8 a bit too hard.
Not knowing him myself or really giving a shit anymore should compel me not to say anything, but, cmon, this is SLAP.

Some Atlanta dude was doing it for a while but got a load of crap for it. Some of the decks he printed were pro models.
I think switchboard dist is still doing them. They make civilian, h street, reliance. They show up on amazon for similar prices

Yeah, anyone who skated and wrote in mid 90s probably knows how Mike was, and maybe still is. I haven't spoken to him since 97.
Got caught with one of his black books one time. The cops had the entire pricinct gathered around looking at all the hella hard core porn collages on every page. Eventually got me out of a ticket though, because they assumed it was my book.
Rebel 8 is also extremely cringy.
