Bro Style is where it's at. I also get a warm fuzzy that I might be helping all of those Foundation dudes that don't get paid.

and the 2018 t-eddy for most unnecessary countdown clock goes to...

(yes, that's real - https://www.grizzlygriptape.com/collections/lizard-king-collection)

and when the countdown clock expires and this stuff inevitably finds its way to a flea market near you, a fair warning to vintage 80s hypebeasts - don't be fooled by cheap imitations!

God, skateboarding in 2018 is lame.
[close]

Skaters have been saying skateboarding is lame ever since I started skateboarding????
Are you taking responsibility for the lame? That's very noble of you but we would like you to please retire your board so we can go back to a sort of mid90s skateboard utopia that Mr. Hill has told us so much about.

Torey’s brain must be so fried to sign off on those designs and put them into production

I remember skating the park when Mike Plumb and one of his buddies was there. His friend spent the session sitting on the bench next to the entrance throwing up and swallowing it back down.

Watching his friend swallow his puke was less disgusting than these designs.

That's a better nickname than Lizard King.
Now, we used to say we put on our tights to put on the world. So I don't think it tarnishes the image at all.

I love Lizard's skating, he kind of ushered in the new era of the one foot. That being said, I met him, I was drunk and foolish and young and he was very cool to me, totally a super polite and sweet guy but he started talking some ideas that he had and they were awful. He was like "Picture this, toeless toe socks! how sick would that be?! Thats my dream, signature toeless toe socks...." Shoulda known right then, dude was gonna make some poor career decisions

i feel like these are the kinds of edits you make for your final film project in highschool, all dorky and shit but you know the teachers gonna love it and give you an A
Shouldn’t it be “Cory Kennedy off Nike”?  Pretty sure there’s a way to edit titles of threads.
