I could be wrong but I seem to remember AVE sporting cornrows and being sorta fresh in the late 90's/early 00's. Hands down the biggest change was Boulala though, went from Tom Penny wannabe to Seinfeld puffy shirt/coachella girl pretty quickly.

In general I like that baggies are back. Even Duffman is skating baggies these days. Cromer skateboarding looks amazing in baggies (LSD). Another example of how baggies can make skateboarding look so different is Breana Geering; I love the Janis song !

As has been pointed out the correct answer is Chris Haslam. When I came across his old, bald footage I could never believe it's actually him.

I was sharing a hotel room with Haslam when he had just started growing his hair out (I met him when he was bald head, baggy clothes Haslam). He told me he was growing it out until he turned Pro. A year later he was long haired Haslam. It's cool, knowing Chris, I think his makeover suits him better than Deca Haslam.

Baca was always hangin around gangbangers/thugs back in the day even in his rocker phase, the park that he grew up skating every day and still skates to this day was a notorious gang hang out spot, so it was only a matter of time before he made the full jump over to that style. You are a product of your environment after all.
