Mindfield has probably the most stacked team of any video ever, with only a few weak links (dyrdek/berra.) That coupled with how well the video is made puts it above pretty much every video for me, besides maybe spirit quest.

My thing with Stay Gold is that outside of Reynolds and Westgate all the other good parts (herman, preston, provost, tacowny, figs, leo) had overlapping style. That's fine when Magenta hang out with some japanese niggas for a 7 minute clip but for a long ass shoe video it's hard to rewatch.

Hsu's part was good, but i hate when people act like it wasn't a stress montage with a dozen tricks. Yeah those tricks were switch, but there are 3-4 minute parts that have just as much switch.

Japanese n#ggas, I most have missed that part?

Nigga when I reference obscure FESN shit from 2013 I need you to keep up pimpin'.

I’m sorry, but I still don’t know what the hell your talking about???

If Mindfield traded Mikey Taylor, Borra and Dydrek parts for Reynolds part - well that’d be cool

I watched Mindfield today and was definitely in agreement that it was the superior full package... but then I watched Stay Gold again and it wasn't as clear cut as I thought. After Mindfield, I appreciated the lack of drawn out interludes  and nonsense in Stay Gold. The beginning back to back of Westgate and Herman parts quite honestly beats anything in Mindfield - and I'm saying that as a diehard Kalis fan. Each video has a few guys that taint it a bit like Berra or Braydon - nobody's perfect. Reynolds got the better ender, but part of that for me is because he doesn't skate to Morrisey. Minus a few points to Heath for the music choice. Also minus points to Mindfield for the intro using fucking bagpipes and going on for way too long. Technical foul for overuse of Dino Jr, though the ref agrees that Dino Jr is rad.

Final verdict - Stay Gold by a hair for me, but I'm partial to California skateboarding and I get sick of long chunks of bullshit interlude stuff in videos after the first viewing. Both videos are awesome, I can understand liking either better.

Is that the band that did Reynolds' song? Wouldn't listen to that band outside of a skate video probably, but it worked with the part. Not saying Morrisey didn't fit, I just hate Morrisey. Like a couple Smiths songs though.

Also, this is Allen - "I posted on my instagram story a black screen with "I need to get wasted" written on it."  ;D ;D ;D  Allen is a 15 year old goth chick confirmed.

Maybe Allen needs to add some sparks and cloud puffs to his comments in hopes that it makes them better? I can think of one time that definitely didn't work. Thank god for the post you skating thread. Lol.
