to be frank, if jake died of an overdose of prescription pills that will never be reported. that's the family's business. until tmz cares to look into it. and if he took too much on purpose we will never know unless jake left a note.

but jake didn't put a note on instagram. so nobody can assume his death was not an accident.

Someone in this thread recommended Dreamland by Sam Quinones for a pretty in-depth look at how the opiate problem in America came to be. I picked it up from the library and just want to second that recommendation.
