Really started posting on here after wheelbite died.  How long ago was that?

i lurked here as a guest for years.  i used to post on the front page as jrock, but finally registered in the forum once they made it a requirement to post.  probably would havve picked a better name if i'd have realized you couldnt change it later.  my name on here has no significance, just something that popped into my head.  Since I've been sick, I find myself on here 24-7.  Stuck in bed, can't skate, might as well shoot the shit about it cause i aint got nothing better to do...myspace, yahoo, craigslist, dailyrotten, and slap are in constant rotation....

searching around trying to found a decent skateboarding messageboard, skateboardrumors was alright except alot of people fucked it up and there wasn't nearly as much posting going on there as there is here..I think only a few people had anything above several hundred posts. well, got directed to over here, and I've been addicted. as much shit as everyone likes to talk about SLAP, I'm pretty addicting and loving it

my family had just gotten the internet my freshman year of highschool and i noticed that SLAP mag had a website advertisment, i found the board and that was it. I had various names throughout highschool which i totally can't remember, i thnk one might have had somehting to do with sublime.... AFter high school i stopped SLAPping around online, moved out, did a lot of shit, then a few months ago i got a computer of my own, scoped out the boards and fell back on.

I just checked out those greay boards that were posted by someone, i didn't recognize many if any of the names. I remember the rap battles, ymhy and beans EPIC brawls, ymhy pretty much ripping everyone apart including myself for being 15 and thinking we knew everything, and for a time, baaaaack when weren't the boards white? i'm pretty sure they went through a few changes in the early 00's.
