Primo Injury
« on: May 02, 2020, 08:20:26 AM »
Anyone ever fractured anything landing primo? I landed directly on the axle with my back foot doing a flat ground tre flip and a week later its still sore and right now skating is out of the question. Thinking I may have stress fractured the 5th metatarsal but I can still put weight on it, just not anything strenuous. Just curious if anyone has had any similar injury.  I really don't feel like going to the dr since my insurance is shit.

well if you're not gonna see a doc. most foot injuries require you to stay off of it, which is damn near impossible for some people, so good luck.

footprint insoles absorb a lot of impact, i wear them so i dont get heel bruises or destroy my arches landing primo. still hurts but it is an improvement. if you rock shoes that have removable insoles its an option.

I ordered a walking boot on amazon. I'll wear that for a week or so and assess.
