I dont know, I cant skate on weed, too slow and dumb. Being and opiate addict has interesting sides to it. When Im high, I kill at skating, consistent and secure. Then I skated during a withdrawal once, sweating, in royal pain and a second from throwing up, horrible all in all, but, I fucking ruled our park. Now, not many are skating on heavy drugs like buprenorfine, fentanyl, methadone or smack, just weed so I dont really have an opinion.

My problem is glorification of drugs. Little kids dont do what grown ups are saying, they do what grown ups are doing. Thats a problem when many pros are up in your face with all the weed and 40s and kids are following. Then again all the drugs are out there in the streets so I dont know. When people are smoking weed at the park is not good for sure. We already have a negative image in the eyes of society, but do i give a fuck? I did not start skating to improve my stamina, I started because it was an awesome thing! So fuck all the Doug Browns, people will do drugs if they want to, some paint on a board wount do much difference.?  I just think that the industy should take it down a notch or two.

Adderall is a drug, it's pretty much controlled meth, yes it does make you skate better but when you run out your gonna wonder what happened to your body and stamina and your new smith grind. I've done over 30 drugs on a skateboard because I'm A BADASS, but I'll say this. Weed is fine, Beers are fine, vodka through a straw maybe..just a sailors glass. Don't get too smacked up before you skate, and don't skate when your coming off smack. Don't steal all your moms xanax and later on try to do a 14 stair because THAT HURTS, just roll sliffs, act hyphy, listen to  36 mafia , or drink Jack daniel's with your ripped up motorhead t shirt , doesn't matter.

I can't even count weed because it would be more of a matter of "when am I not high." I'm not even a stoner-type, but the odds are if I'm not in my office I've just finished smoking and then off to skating, getting groceries, or errands. I'm a pretty clean cut yuppie scumbag, and being in IT means nobody else knows what the fuck I'm talking about anyway.

Don't really care about seeing weed glamorized like it's jewelery or a sign of success... but I keep my toking low key and I'm projecting.

Not exactly a drug, but when I skate on adderall I feel more consistent and more willing to try bigger stuff.

How is amphetamine sulfate not a drug?  It is speed.

And yeah, skating on speed (any stimulant except cocaine, actually) is fucking awesome, as you would expect.

Yeah with many of the skateboarders I know, weed (and beer for that matter) is just a constant presence in their body, so arguing over 'skating stoned' is moot.  Regarding getting drunk and skateboarding, it is much like getting drunk and playing pool.  A few drinks, and you're ripping harder than when you're sober, but just one drink over the line and your fucking up all over the place.
