It's funny all the nostalgia over Axion. The brand only had like 2 good years, maybe a year and a half before the designs were completely horrible. Don't get me wrong, it's all I wore for those good years and still love the models from that era, but even in it's original run Axion was bad for longer than it was good.

the quality was awful. they fell apart so fast and the air broke really quickly.

Does anyone got the story about these past companies, as far as why they went out of business? Also is Droors still around?

for good reasons:
they looked ugly as hell. quality was subpar – i would have rather skated end 90s Vans than Axion or Kastel back then.

I have some major nostalgia for the good years of Axion. It’s almost all I wore at the time, including some baggy ass Axion 5 pocket jeans. But once it ran its course into the year 2000 and they started making “chilling” shoes like the Alta (can’t believe I actually bought those, definitely my last pair of Axions) it was over….and should have stayed over. Out of all the pairs I had, my black Routines were kind of pieces of shit quality wise (dug the design though) and I didn’t really like my brown Supremes (not a fan of the design, skated fine though). All the others were decent shoes for me.
