Hi guys, I know a lot of you have gone through physical therapy so I'd appreciate some advice.
I just got out of the hospital 3 weeks ago. I was there since November. I had 6 surgeries on my leg including a skin graft from my thigh and I even caught covid right before the skin graft surgery. I had compartment syndrome. Same thing Pat Duffy got where they opened those huge gashes on the sides of his leg from bailing on the mega ramp. I almost died cuz I had some gnarly blood clots and they were barely able to save my leg.
I started physical therapy last week and went for 4 days in a row. I've already noticed some progress. I stopped using crutches and can now walk with a limp. I bought some stuff yesterday so I can do similar exercises at home. I can't set my foot down completely while keeping my knee straight. My achilles tendon on my foot is tight and can't bend it upwards. I also have numbness on my foot, can't move my toes, shooting nerve pains and can't hyper extend my knee.
I know most of the injuries that are talked about here are knee injuries so I was hoping some of the exercises may apply to my situation.
