Fake Hardflips

Did anyone else notice that Brandon Turner’s “hardflip” at Wallenburg was actually just a vertical pop shuvit? Am I the only one outraged at glorified shuvits being passed off as hardflips?

Mann, even if there is a tiny bit of truth to this put some respect on B Turner’s name. You plan on hucking down Wallenberg at 40? He deserves every penny of that $10k SLS gave him for TOTY too.

as long as it spins frontside, even a little bit, i count as a hardflip. i consider illusion flip territory when it's extremely vertical but actually spinning backside. as a sw hardflipper i am all too familiar with the vertical but actually backside spin.

if brandon turners switch hardflip isnt a switch hardflip than switch hardflips arent switch hardflips.


this is a switch hardflip. textbook.

but i know where you are coming from.
you can either shovel it up by putting your foot in the treflip pocket of the tail (nose) or flick it by putting your foot on the opposite site of the tail at reynolds kickflip position
