@Mbrimson88 a tackle box is definitely the way to go (got the idea from Dan Rusin (MN filmer) on IG.

and... ammo boxes for wheels/trucks

So good!!!!!

Does that live in one place or get taken with you?

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

There’s a whole ‘nother box of cruiser wheels, extra laces, wax, etc. that I didn’t have the drive to pull out, plus a few more sheets of grip in up on a shelf, but here’s most of what I’ve got in reserve. Anybody need a single Thunder 149 Team Edition & a 148 hanger?

I wanna play you in a game of SKATE for the right to continue talking shit on me.  You think you got me?

All that stuff is from a while ago now, before fake product really made it on to the market.

The post is from nearly three years ago and the box was from when that shop shut maybe ten years ago.

It was a very mixed lot that was a flat price, so almost a lucky dip.  They had sold almost all of the decks and all the completes before the shop shut, so just had smaller and older things remaining.

It happens from time to time, but I think I would be a bit more cautious nowdays considering there are so many fake products on the market.

wtf People make bootleg bearings?

Unfortunately, anything good/popular that gets made in China eventually gets ripped off. There was a thread started about counterfeit gear earlier this week.

https://www.slapmagazine.com/index.php?topic=115386.msg3497480#msg3497480

There’s also one specifically about fake bones bearings.

i love, love, love this thread.

these are trucks that need parts/attention (pivot cups, baseplates, hangers, bushings, axle nuts, kingpins need to be pressed, axles need rethreading, baseplates need welding, etc) mostly usa castings

these are trucks ready to go aside from the titanium thunders at the bottom, i gotta weld the massive crack on one of the hangers. does deluxe still warranty these?
-featherlight ventures 5.25 usa
-ed templeton thunders 147 usa
-stage 8 129s
-stage 8 136s
-titanium thunders

Those Spitfire soft Ds are awesome wheels - still have a few sets and not about to get rid of them any time soon, now that they don't make them anymore.  The 95s were good for slightly slippery stuff and the 92s were perfect for cruising and most crust that you couldn't skate with normal wheels.

Re warranty - if they are still reasonably newish or you have receipts and location of purchase, they are worth checking, but if they have been well used or it is a year or more, they most likely would not be covered under warranty.  Always worth a try though.

agreed on the spitfire 92s, still trying to sort out a good board and set of trucks to go with em. ive been eyeing a john lucero board, maybe that might be a winner or if i can come across a chris miller board for a decent price.

Most of mine is junk I will never need to use again. I have a hard time throwing it away from some reason. I have the same problem with old decks. I try to give parts away when the condition is decent enough, or use them to make other stuff. I made a plant stand thing once, and turned a deck into a scratching post for my cat who doesn't use it.

We need a trade/donate thread. I bet there is lots of good unused gear out there that could be swapped and horse traded.

I love your stool dude. I love doing shit with old skate parts. I have made a tree swing for my son where he can stand and pump with his arms as a gateway to skateboarding (he’s 8.).

Check out out my skate room lounge chair on top of my skate bench:

I believe there is a thread for showing things you have done with old skate parts. If you find it you can share other creations if you have them.
