Skip to 39 min to avoid the mind numbing intro. Watching her try to claim she was in the "scene" is very cringe.

I don't know who Whitney Cummings is but I'm gonna use this random podcast related thread to point out that there hasn't been a peep on here about the && Nine Club. Thought that would've had multiple threads with Cheetah returning once again via 3 different accounts.

I tried to watch that one but it was very boring.

Didn't watch it myself. I guess the boring aspect is why no thread was made.

That was an enjoyable watch, not sure who the guy was but it was obvious he knows his skate stuff.

I commute, so I'm most of the way through the interview

He names Heath Kirchart as his favorite Birdhouse alumni, but just says "Heath", not his full name, so random listeners won't have any idea who that is. Which is good? Keeps his legacy less accessible to non skaters? idk

If you want to hear Whitney say "fascinating" about a hundred times while trying to equate learning skateboard tricks and slamming to writing jokes and filming specials, then buckle up! Your ride has arrived.

It gets better when the sticker dude arrives, but Whitney is still there trying to intellectualize every little thing. They do get into the nitty gritty, and maybe there's a grand crescendo at the end, will update if there is. Worth listening to, but the first 40 or so minutes of the actual interview is kinda tedious with Whitney trying to find common ground, when there is very little.

There's a moment where she asks him about how he has such a calm personal life, and he almost goes into his relationship problems and infidelities, but she either doesn't know about all that or didn't want to go deeper on it. Could have been epic.
I was standing staring at the world, and I still can't see it

Or just watch the excellent Mark Normand Jenkem video.
