He names Heath Kirchart as his favorite Birdhouse alumni, but just says "Heath", not his full name, so random listeners won't have any idea who that is. Which is good? Keeps his legacy less accessible to non skaters? idk
If you want to hear Whitney say "fascinating" about a hundred times while trying to equate learning skateboard tricks and slamming to writing jokes and filming specials, then buckle up! Your ride has arrived.
It gets better when the sticker dude arrives, but Whitney is still there trying to intellectualize every little thing. They do get into the nitty gritty, and maybe there's a grand crescendo at the end, will update if there is. Worth listening to, but the first 40 or so minutes of the actual interview is kinda tedious with Whitney trying to find common ground, when there is very little.
There's a moment where she asks him about how he has such a calm personal life, and he almost goes into his relationship problems and infidelities, but she either doesn't know about all that or didn't want to go deeper on it. Could have been epic.
