Jessup Ultra NBD
« on: October 12, 2021, 11:49:15 AM »
Hi guys, I just received a few sheets of this new type of grip from Jessup, “Jessup Ultra NBD” which is supposed to be Jessup flutes grit + 33% scraps from the Nike factory. However when I received it, it looked different than I expected, having white speckles all over, almost like black sandpaper. I haven’t skated it yet and I’ll report back when I do, but idk if I wasted my money or not. Just in case, I ended up ordering a roll of  Jessup Ultra in case I don’t like this type (I actually posted a question about storing a roll of grip a minute ago) but I’m going to try and skate it and see how it holds up. The grit granules look courser than regular Jessup Ultra. Anyone try this stuff yet?

got a promo sheet from the distributor up here. cuts very poorly, you need the sharpest of blades.
it doesnt feel grippy even when new, i couldnt stand it personally. laying the sheet down also feels bad as theres not any rigidity to the sheet so it just flops down.
