I disagree so strongly with this opinion that I signed up to post that I disagree with this opinion

Chris Cole's parts have more grit and soul. PJ's parts are also pretty good, from what people tell me, but I don't have any first hand experience.

I get people don't fuck with Cole's style today but the fact we didn't send him to represent U.S.A in the Olympics is a fucking travesty.

We're really hoping for Nigel and Nickelodeons Jagger Eaton to win it? God help us.

Brandon Hoban may be our last best hope against the Japanese Mech Pilots

are you serious ?
you seem to miss the part where he's washed out

I like seeing Paul skate. Especially now a days. To me he’s like better than ever.

No one’s ever going to reach the PJ level tho.

All you have to do is put out one really really good part and another part that’s pretty good but not as good as that one but don’t put music in the second one. And then don’t do shit for the rest of your career is a professional skateboarder

They don't call him Chris "Garter Snake" Cole , for nothin'!
[close]

He is a Cobra after all.

P-Rod wins by staying relevant for over 20 years and running one of the industry's most successful companies, I'd say he's approaching Andrew Reynolds level of GOAT status.

in terms of legacy Paul surpassed Reynolds a long while ago

2nd vote would be for PJ. sometimes it is a fine command of the english language to say nothing and he extended that to skating. PJ's plan B part is the emperor's new clothes.

They also sent Jake Ilardi for street…

But also for the Olympics the team was chosen mostly through people who had been actively competing for the year or so leading up to it, I can’t even remember the last time Cobra did a noteworthy contest. I don’t think he’s washed out but I definitely wouldn’t call it a travesty that they didn’t send him.

that’s a spicy take

Skate video parts - even or slight edge to Reynolds
Skate company - Reynolds, Bakers been around longer and spun off to Deathwish and Shake Junt, but Primitive has entered the lifestyle space
Shoes - slight edge to Reynolds, both have had numerous pro models but Reynolds stayed on a core company longer
Choosing pro riders - even, both have a great eye for talent
Competition results - shouldn't matter but P-Rod has more trophies in his case
Age and career longevity - Reynolds, still hucking big hammers after 3 decades

TLDR - arguable but Reynolds edges out but a slim margin
Venture Truck Height:

5.0 & 5.2 LO
STANDARD - 1.88” - 47.75mm
FORGED - 1.85”- 46.99mm

5.0 ,5.2, 5.6, 5.8 & 6.1 HI

if prod is still frontside flipping 12 stairs in another 15 years, then maybe he'll take the title from reynolds

I heard Chris Cole has a notably large penis.
[close]

How do you think he got his nickname? It even has a hood and fangs too.

I heard it was from getting a boner at Inopportune moments in public.

Hey look over there lol! Hey! Hey Cobra! Yes you in the yellow snow camouflage! Stop with the swishy pants to the plaza ok

Agree. Him taking out JAH pretty epic in BATB.  My second favorite battle was the duel between the two Sean’s & one power sliding all over the place. Intriguing & ridiculous.

Going back to Pamacado’s original statement that in terms of legacy Prod surpassed Reynolds a long time ago. That’s a hard disagree. Andrew’s legacy more powerful. There’s so many areas to compare . Just comparing Baker & Primitive , Baker holds a more powerful history . Plus TFunk & Kader more exciting for years to come compared to Prim’s lineup

this is the kind of thing they would argue about on a skating version of "First Take"

a fun barstool debate but at the end of the day they're all in the street skating pantheon

Is it ok if I don't like any of them?

I have a hard time putting P-Rod anywhere near Reynolds.

Also, met P-Rod at the Court House. He wasn't outwardly rude, but his passive-aggressiveness wasn't cool either.

I’d definitely be more interested in mens Olympic skateboarding if Cole was there.

Maybe next time
