You don’t need them for if you aren’t monetizing your channel.

Thrasher monetizes their channel so any video on their YouTube needs music rights.

It’s a sucks that nowadays people rely on thrasher’s channel to get their video views, and as a result most videos now have shitty soundtracks.

You'd think with thrasher and other companies connections people would be able to work with musicians to get music. If you're gonna end up with something not great anyway why not work with the makers to get a cover or different version of a song specifically for the clip. Leo just did it, tightbooth in Japan's been doing it

Element really dropped the ball hard with John, he's deserving of pro status for over a decade now. The technicality of his ledge skating mixed with his creativity and style would make me support this guy any day whether he's trying to "make it" or not.
