Yep. Interesting penultimate film Friedkin. While it’s certainly no Cruising or To Live and Die in L.A., it was darkly comic and terrifically tasteless, which puts it on par with Jade (critically panned, ignored, etc.), which I also enjoy. It was also the onset of the McConaissance. That drumstick scene with Gina Gershon definitely elicited a “whoa fuck” reaction from me.
