Word is he already tried and they said no. Heard from several people, one of which is relatively connected in the industry so take it or leave it.

I thought they could have benefited from an older, legend status pro (I thought Jason Adams was on but it seems like it was just a one time promo for that loafer shoe). Spanky on NB makes the most sense to me if not LRAB. Not image wise but from a standpoint of what NB seems to be trying to do with marketing older pros like Reynolds and Ryan Lay.

I kinda hope they just didn’t wanna pay him what emerica was paying him and he was just waiting out his contract or whatever stipulation they have for him, I think him officially on last resort would be a match made in heaven and even if he has to take a pay cut he would def bring some legend status to that team

If he can't get on one of the big companies, getting paid the same or less from LRAB might be a good move as the brand seems to be growing. If he can have option to renegotiate after a year or two of riding for them for a sweeter deal, it's better than flow purgatory. I still think he can get on NB. Reynolds can definitely pull strings.

If Spanky really is looking to move on from Emerica (which I would understand- I'm sure he's very relieved to hear) and he has tried for LR and it's not happening, could something like Hours Is Yours work for him? Or would that be too much like admitting defeat? As much as I would buy a SpaNike Pro Model it doesn't seem like those big brands are coming calling.

Sole Tech has an uncanny ability to make any rider nearly untouchable by other shoe brands. No hate on Chris. love his Allie type flick. But there is very little hope for Wime after emerica. Hell be lucky to get free shoes much less a decent check.
