might sounds insane but i can only drive manual. no idea how a automatic works. never touched one. should be simpler, but i have like no idea how it even looks.

Have you tried putting it into drive and then just pushing your foot down on the right pedal?

no.

Start with that.

You and the D00D have turned this thread into a horrible head-on-collision between a short bus full of regular kids and a van full of paraplegics.

I appreciate the concern. Growing up in Germany automatic didn’t exist. Driving meant driving stick. After coming to China, where all cars are automatic, I hesitated to drive for a long time. When I finally got round to it it took about two minutes to “learn” though. There really is nothing to learn.
The other way round would be way more difficult I imagine.

being on house arrest is overwhelming, underwhelming and whelming.

Got chased by a little dog a few days ago. She escaped from her front yard and followed me as I walked up the street. Maybe a little shih tzu? I’m not good with dog breeds… She didn’t warm up to me cuz her owner came out and swooped her up real quick, but I was tryin. The owner was super apologetic but I honestly didn’t mind. It was all funny to me. There was another dog that stayed in the yard. I don’t think they get off the property much and the fence is six or seven feet high.

Little dog was all frickin bark until I would step toward her, then she’d back up a little, bark again, slowly step toward me and we’d go back and forth. Hee hee.

Got gifted a 90's Yamaha Racing Kart
the engine had been rebuilt but the owner lost interest so it sat in boxes for a few years
started putting it back together and just have the carburetor and brakes left to clean
then i can go hoon around with my kids and pretend we are racing suzuka
(going to buy some 2nd hand racing gear too)

not stocked that i have to disassemble to rear axle to remove half the caliper so i can pull it apart to clean it
(might just spray a can of brake cleaner in all the orifices to get out most the congealed brake fluid and call it a day)
or that the brake master piston kit is NLA (so i will have to clean the piston as best as possible and combine new seals from a similar sized 5/8 brake piston kit)
