i've had nightmares about losing my wallet. i've lost it for a couple hours but i always end up finding it. i think about money in terms of time. like if i'm getting paid 10 bucks an hour  and want to buy a pack of cigarettes or something i always think "is this worth a half hour of my life? especially spent at shitty work?" this kid i skate with will come back from the casino and be like "i lost 400 dollars" and i just can't imagine it. maybe  i'm cheap.

i never carry a wallet with me either, and it works pretty good anyway. i never bring money with me except when i need a few bucks and its always in my front pocket.

i dont understand people who put shit in their back pocket? can someone tell me...

only stuff i remember losing is a few coins when i sit down in a car and a pack of starbursts, and i was really pissed for that 1$ starburst candy... hah

Shittiest feeling I ever had is when I was in first year of college and surviving on a 100 dollar a week budget. I pulled out 60 bucks on friday because I somehow manage to make it through the week with only spending 40 bucks on food and what not. So my plan was to get hammered that night. In a visit earlier in the month to the bank I had forgot my bank card in the machine, so my thoughts were "get your fucking bank card you idiot". I was so stuck on getting my bank card as soon as it came out I booked it. Sitting on the bus thinking about how awesome it was that I got my card, I thought about how person it was that I left 60 bucks sitting in the machine for the next person in line to find. I almost puked.

I stopped carrying cash within a few months of moving to Houston. It's been working well for the last 7 plus years.

that reminds me of the time i went into this store to buy a blunt and 22 oz. of heiniken.
i was all drunk and paid with a $100, then walked out with just the blunt and the beer.

i'd probably be a little less dissapointed with a blunt and beer to a pack of gum but yeah, haha

fortunately this was around the time Hensley brought the chain wallets to skating and for me that was problem solved

I've never lost any significant amount of cash.  Though carrying cards leads to it's own set of problems, i'm at least happy to know that if my card gets stolen there's some chance i'll get the money back instead of no chance.

I'm so poor right now, reading this thread is giving me acid reflux.
