Mine are kind of like that:

...they feel more locked in and stable like that rather than grinding straight (which I tend to do when hitting them backside).

I think mine are too, I do them alot and they all feel the same but according to lurkers that shout stuff at me sometimes they are really overcrook or really fs crook. I think I just have no sense of where my body is.

they feel so nice when you get out of them........I suck at them though,  its usually only on skatepark ledges or a real smoothe waxed one......i need to invest more time into frontside nosegrinds.......i especially want to learn the nollie 180 out variation on real ledges...

For some reason or another I haven't done a nosegrind in some time. I can't really feel 'em frontside either. Front crooks on the other hand are far supirior to the back crooks.

Brian Wenning, b/s nosegrind the entire ledge at love that drops off the two stair at the end in Photosynthesis. Its skateboarding perfected. Perfectly balanced and locked in like it was nothing. Not only the best nosegrind, but probably my favorite clip ever. Wenning probably does the top 5 best nosegrinds ever in that part as well. I also liked the nollie bs nosegrind  to back 180 out at the piers in Nyc in that part too.
