"Paper Planes" is damn catchy.  Goes good in the Pineapple Express trailer.

The original song that paper planes is sampled from is much less annoying:

speaking of piracy. i really liked piracy funds terrorism vol 1. i cant listen to arular and never bothered with kala. there are a few choice diplo mixes & baile funk tracks in it. a second one in the near future would be dope.

bonde do role = not real baile. no where near electrofunk. they are as wack as CSS.

i'm talking funk carioca not this watered down crap. real funkeiros like mc serginho, dj sujinho, mc gringo, dj marlboro, zuzuka poderosa, etc.

bonde de role sucked so much when i saw them at a festival. especially their terrible music.  i got to see the singers panties at times though, so it was worth it i guess.

i dont understand the "paper planes" hype. everyone says its catchy, and im a huge fan of catchiness but i just dont get it. i dont really want to either.

mia hates diplo

when did that happen?  bad breakup?

i was really into arular (and the mixtape) when it came out, and really meh on kala...but kala grew on me.  i was really hyped that she used those aborigine kids rap that were on that diplo podcast.  first song's pretty sick, too.

Honestly thought nothing would make that song good until I saw that trailer. Love it.

I always picture white dudes with cargo shorts and billabong tshirts forming guns with their fingers and shooting to the refrain while walking to capoeira training.

But I like the song too, it's catchy enough for me. I also occasionally listen to Arular. Don't know if it's newer or older.
