throat - help

has anyone gotten a soar throat for a couple days in a row with out catching a cold? anyone know what to do or what this is? i threw up and smoked cigs and then my throat started hurting and i quit smoking and my throat has been hurting for 3 days now. im really worried and i dont know what to do! please help.

So you regularly smoke cigarette's? I know when I quit smoking it gave my throat problems in a similar manner. Just get some throat lozenges.

Or you could go to a doctor instead of the Slap boards. Call me crazy, I know.

Well, you know...if you swallow your own sperm it works like a natural cure so to speak. That might work?

my cure for sore throats is usually gargling with salt water... add a tablespoon of salt to a glass of water and gargle and spit it out... repeat it a few times a day and it usually helps with my throat pains...

with regards to it being smoking related, i doubt it...  i cut my smoking down dramatically as of the past few weeks and i havent experienced such pains yet...

if that doesnt work, go to a doctor... slap is a place of skateboarding, not medical advice....

that's my mom's cure for any throat pain, and it totally works.  it's like the Colt 45 of remedies.

Make sure the water's nice and warm.

I also gargle with Hydrogen peroxide cause it just kills every germ in your throat and it usually makes me feel better faster.

I had that shit a couple of weeks ago, and it was just strepth throat. I was so worried that it was mono.

On a sidenote, what's your take on people who wallow thir own sperm? I heard a guy I know did it and even openly described how. (including filling a glass over the course of a few days and drink it later).

I have since been afraid to even look at pictures of him.
