So, where were you this weekend Rawbertson?  I was desperately scouring the city looking for you.  Every time I smelt some weed I went to investigate, but the only thing it lead me to was a blind man, a woman with breast cancer, and some guy who called himself Sensuous Simon.

For Myspace and Facebook could you just use a proxy?  All the proxies you could ask for are here - http://www.tech-faq.com/popular-proxies.shtml

http://keir.net/firehole.html  small download, might work for you

http://www.offsurf.com/ - this is like a virtual browser for you pretty much

And for instant messaging, you might could just use Pidgin.  It will let you talk to ICQ, AIM, etc buddies all at once through one program.

http://www.pidgin.im/

To help clear shit from your browser at work use CCleaner.  It will clean out all your shit from all your browsers at once, as well as your recycle bin, and some other shit.

http://www.ccleaner.com/  You can checkmark everything you want it to delete, so you have the option of it killing your history and cookies but not your passwords and things like that.  Everyone in the world should use this.

Do you know what portable apps are?  They are apps that you can stick on your usb key and they'll run off of it instead of having to reinstall them on every comp you go too.  I know it doesn't apply to your situation directly, but you could not only download stuff at home and stick onto the USB drive, you can firefox off of it.  It would still go through your work IP so I guess it wouldn't help.  I'm just trying to figure some stuff out to make work better for you.

Sorry about the two firewall links, I didn't click them myself I just read what they were and posted them.  I shoulda checked first apparently  :P

Edit - So can you not get on any proxy sites?  Some place are set up to not allowing them, but if it just the site itself maybe you could find one that isn't blocked.  Try evilpinkbanana.com
