Really big fan of these yeti's with the twist top. Great for taking out for hikes with your dogs or on a chill bike ride and things like that because you can twist it shut and throw it in your pocket or bike basket when you need too. You can drink from any side and it keeps your coffee at a great temp without changing the flavor like a lot of metal thermost style cups. I got my company's logo added on their website for an extra 10 bucks or something like that.

That is a pretty sick logo and looks like something a superhero has on his/her chest. Is it too much to hope that the S is for "Sleazy Industries?"

I also got a Dale Cooper mug from the Habitat x Twin Peaks collection, and two AWS mugs. This Radio mug is my favorite, though.

thanks @gringo_viejo and i love hearing that it looks like a super hero's chest logo because that was the vibe i was going for. it's a software company and we were pitching ourselves as "super hero" developers at the time. however, when my design partner first saw it he said "man, really love your logo... i love acorns, good call" 🫢

now how do yall brew your coffee
I have a Bodum pour over that's essentially a knock off of the Chemex. The Bodum comes with a reusable mesh filter that I put a regular paper filter over. No need to buy those expensive Chemex paper filters. Grind the beans fine and it tastes great.

I've actually been getting concerned that this fella will break soon, like literally within the past week telling myself I need to find another one. I've had it for almost 15 years. I don't drink starbucks, but just wanted a big ass mug one day and grabbed one from them. It's fallen a ton, and only in the last year a little chip on the bottom. They still sell mugs that look like this but they are a much brighter/whiter white, and not even close to the same thickness in the handle or the main body of the mug. This thread will probably have me looking for one on ebay tonight. I have a strong attachment to it because it just feels right, it's built like a tank, and holds a shitload of coffee.

Edit: Horrible photo, wtf, oh well.

I’ve got a few that I really like.

I got one that just has the Icelandic flag on it from when I went to Iceland. I also have a Twin Peaks fire walk with me one. And I think my other favorite one must be just one I found IKEA randomly.

Digging the handle. A good handle makes or breaks the mug. Too skinny and it’s not comfortable. My in laws bought the perfect mug when in CA at Black Bear Diner. Sadly, last time I checked they weren’t selling them in the restaurant and I don’t want to buy used.

That’s hilarious, I never noticed the parenthesis before. Now I can’t unsee it!  :o

And I had to look up issue 26 cover. It is quite stunning.

My first 411 was issue 31. It’s amazing how much more the 411’s are appreciated when you only have one or two. It might have been overload to get one every month… (or not ;D )
Thanks y’all. It’s been fun.

To add to what was said about the ember mug, I would never buy one but this was a gift and I drink my coffee pretty quick usually so my wife uses it. They are good when working but have their quirks and qc issues so again, I would never actually pay their asking price for one. They are worth $20-$30 tops imo.

The Star Wars mug was my go to for years but just started developing a leak so I’ve moved on recently to a different one.

Always self ground aeropress black or a little bit of foamed milk (when I feel like using some extra from the cup I make for my wife).

Don't really care for a glass mug but I had to have it as  my backup. The turquoise mug is made by always azul pottery. Was my grandmas and I dropped it not long after she passed. Luckily I only broke the handle, I have a couple more but I only use this one now. Waiting to drop it once more

Both are cool. I like the shape of the pottery fo sho and can’t hate on Garfield. You ever think about gluing the handle back on? There’s some strong stuff out there these days. I tossed a mug due to a broken handle and I really regret it. Going on a decade lol.

Thanks. The clay mug was made by always azul pottery. Think they're out of CO. She had them ever since I can rember. Randomly like 15 years ago, my other grandma traveled with the ren fest and worked for this pottery company. Didn't put it together until 2020.

Unfortunately I tossed the handle but I kinda like it this way. Wabi sabi.

Sorry for your loss
