Hurricane grinds

Does one have to revert back to regular in order for a hurricane to be “legit” or is it acceptable to ride away fakie? I’d never considered it before but yesterday I landed a couple bs ones for the first time ever and pulling it back to regular feels mighty difficult lol

Definitely more respectable if someone pulls it back to forward.

Congratulations!

I was feeling the hype just doing a backside one grinding the whole curb out to forward when the only other ones I’d ever done were stalls on ramps and as a curb dance combo. It had been on my to do list for ages.

I'm just getting these down on double sided curbs but I do the cheater boardslide to hurricane and try to pivot back to regular.  Sometimes I've transfered forward over the curb.  This is all worthless to you if you're doing them on a rail or a roundbar or something.  They're fucking rad either way IMO.  Tom Knox's hurricanes in the Speed Wheels video are the best.

I’ve done them fs and bs on small ledges but the way I’ve gotten out is like I’ll complete the rotation in the way I was spinning so like fs hurricane fs half cab out
I know that’s fucked lol but I take what I can get, man

I think it doesn’t count at all and it’s not proper unless you go to forwards in the opposite way to the way you 180d in or you just go to fakie
listen to cosmic psychos

If you have an end it’s way easier….

Pushing over a parking block or hanging on a flat bar makes sense but popping to fakie is insane.
