South American Healthcare?
« on: December 27, 2008, 12:00:05 PM »
Just wondering if any of you guys have experience with any of this, supposedly its lightyears ahead of what we have going in America. I'm looking into going to Costa Rica to get extensive work done on my teeth, which would save me about $10,000 for the work I need done. Any words of advice is appreciated!

Are you really stupid enough to fly to South America for health care? I mean, we are talking about a part of the world where drinking ordinary tap water leads to stomach problems. What the fuck do you think, asshole?

I'm talking about Costa Rica, which actually has one of the world's best healthcare systems. All of the doctors there go to school in the US, its just not a privatized system and therefore would save me a nice chunk.

I was just kidding. Go for it. My grandpa is friends with a guy who did that.

Costa Ricans also make 1/10th of what Americans do, so you can live like a king over there for a couple days.
