Same here. My buddy was contemplating going into CVS complaining of swine flu like symptoms. Imagine what would happen... it would be like a fucking swarm of CDC officials in hazmat suits.

yeah i know that the mortality rate isnt in any way close to even minuscule, but it just freaks me out. i hard a stuffed ass nose and a sore throat about two weeks ago. i like to think it has a lot to do with spring allergies as it happens to me every year, seeing as how im allergic to damn near everything. lately ive just been keeping more clean than usual and washing my hands constantly. i was one of the few that got the mrsa staph infection in late 2007, and i was quarantined in the hospital, kept in one room for an entire week. i was scared i was going to die. im hoping this goes the way of the asian bird fru but the difference between the two is that the bird fru was assumed to be caused throw the eating of diseased birds rather than person-to-person contact. man i have like two weeks of high school left, i really dont want some fuckhead sneezing on me or something giving me some terrible shit

My uncle was the first person to contract MRSA like that in the country, and quite possibly the world. Hmmm...

Ok, so I just found out that I arrived in Auckland at the end of last week from LA on the actual flight that started off all of this in NZ. No fucking shit. Turns out me and my girlfriend are fine despite the NZ government trying to find us for 4 days thinking were gonna bring the whole country down - were just travelling here so it took them a while to find us. Got taken to the hospital in Christchurch, did a shit load of tests, got threatened with quarantine but turns out were fine. Due to a combination of a real bad case of jetlag and not watching the news I was out of it for a couple of days so I had no idea what was going on. The internet connection is pretty shitty where Im staying too so I hadnt been online. It would be fair to say Im feeling pretty blessed right now.
