minnesota is beautiful as fuck in the summer. where are you staying at? as far as skate spots go, check out downtown minneapolis any day after like 5. it gets pretty barren. other than that, check out the university, there's a ton of fun spots there. also go to familia or cal surf in uptown, i'm sure they'd be able to give you some more help for skate spots. for food spots, there's a ton of good ones. off the top of my head - matt's, chatterbox pub, caffrey's deli, al's breakfast...i wholeheartedly endorse all of those. i don't go out too much so i can't really recommend any bars or clubs. if you're in the university area check out the big 10 there's free popcorn and a pretty good beer selection and they almost always have two for one's. most bars in uptown are overpriced and full of trendy bro's and hoes, the only halfway decent one is the c.c. club. don't even bother going out downtown. if you want to dance or mack on hipster bitches there's a pretty fun party at first ave. called honeymoon which happens every friday or every other friday. i can't remember. for other things to do be sure to check out the walker art center and the minneapolis institute of art, both museums are great. besides that, i can't think of anything else at the moment.

Hyphy. Cal Surf and Familia are musts. Super friendly at both. For downtown, park near the metrodome and then cruise, you can literally find everything.

You don't need to go to 3rd. Unless it's raining. Otherwise fucking skip it.
