when i was 15 or 16 the night before 4 friends and i were gunna be going to woodward for a week. we decided we were going to bomb a hill.half way down the hil you i would always take this side road that cut around and connected back into the main hill at the bottom. i thought thats my friends knew to take this side way because going staight you just go way to fast and there is a ton of rocks in the road. unfortunatly they didnt know and my friend matt got speed wobbles and jumped off his board. when he jmped off he slipped on a patch of pebblles that somehow caused him to do a flip.  he then smashed his head off the ground, which gave him a concussion a hemerage and fractured his skull in two spots. his brain was also bleeding for like 3 days after. that might be a hemerage but im not sure.he got helicoptered to boston, shit was scary. worst result ive ever seen from a fall that didnt look all that bad. and woodward wouldnt refund his 1000 dollars.

i almost had to drive a kid to the hospital but i pawned it off on someone else cause i didnt watn to be held liable in case he died
i hit my face one time cause i caught my wheels on the bottom of a gap going as fast as i could possibly push and i was super lucky, passed out for a few seconds that about it

i skate a lot pussier nowadays i dont try shit unless i can make it within a few tries
i just dont have the patience for a lot of shit these days. ill skate the smaller handrails anythign smaller than a 10 so long as its close to my house.
thats why i have a ton of respect for dudes who go to china and skate. if you hurt yourself there and you dont know anyone who speaks a chinese language you could be fucked.

Harsh thread. I try to not think about this stuff and just skate and push my self. Sometimes when you take a few slams, you don't give a shit anymore and you can go for almost anything that day. Actually I sometimes like competitions for that reason, you can't just throw your board, you need to go for it. I've done so many new things during competition runs, because I was too scared to do that just by myself.
 In the end falling almost isn't painful at all if you know how to fall right, the most annoying thing is when your board flips in your ankle and in your legs.

hahahaha, the first time i hit my head was just sticking on a backlip on a box and flew back hit my head, wasnt too serious but was a shock for sure i have never hit my head before that unless i was wearing a helmet. i have hit some 10+ stair handrails but ive come to the conclusion that im not going to put myself in any places that could go that wrong although it seems like the smallest things get you just bombing a hill or skating a box. on that note i went snowboarding with my snow bros the other day and this lady who cant even ride down the hill is riding up to this flat rail and i am thinking what the fuck is she doing she cant even ride up to this fuckin thing...she turns into a boardslide and slips straight back and hits her head on the rail needless to say it was hillarious
