i was about to start a thread on stance because i'm so stoked on them, but found this one. bump.
anyhow, i'm a big sock fan. about a year ago i ejected all white athletic socks from my sock drawer and have been much happier since. i run colors, stripes, patterns, or plain black and it's a much better lifestyle decision all in all. ryan kingman, who is ex-element and now big at stance, is a friend and sent me a box-- gotta say, hands down, best socks i have ever had. great fit, no quitters, not too thick, not too thin, breath well, good looks. and the ones with the padding- i wear vulc or thin sole shoes almost all the time and can't deal with thick insole pads or the like, but the little baby pads on those socks actually make a difference for a little extra comfort, and they stop your feet from slipping around in your shoes if you're a loose lacer. backing this. plus, don pendleton, jason jessee, andy howell on the team? yes!
