Huf Choice sizing
« on: January 01, 2011, 01:47:51 PM »
I'm planning to buy a pair of Huf Choice's on sale. I'm 11.5 with most brands but the only sizes I can pick from are an 11 and a 12. Do they fit big enough to drop half a size or should I size up and maybe drop an extra thick insole in them?

I've got a pair, and they fit true to size. If anything, your heel's bound to pop out in your true size because there's no heel collar. I would go with a half size down if I were in your position.

Are they as stiff as they look? The outsole seems really thick
Check out my original thought: Chris Cole does some ugly tricks and has wack kit! I'm super edgy and interesting because of my controversial opinions.

I'm just finishing up my Huf review and I would take the size 11. The shoe is true to size but the suede will conform/stretch to your feet.

now i?ve walked one day in them, and somehow a pretty awesome mix of the busenitz and the reynolds cruisers comes to mind.

I just got the Bridge which looks pretty similar to these but in a cupsole. The fit is pretty true but I'd like a little more in the heel area too, they haven't popped off on me yet but there doesn't feel like there is alot back there. Like Adrian and Ripped Laces said go a half size down and let em stretch to fit. The gum cupsole was pretty stiff out of the box but they loosened right up in a couple of days and I'm loving the feel of these right now.

For the bridge so far so good, the gum cupsole grips real nice and they've got a nice balance of board feel and cushioning. I was checking them out last night and there is a stiff cup in the insole that kind of cradles your heel from underneath which seems to compensate for the low heel collar. It definitely feels different at first but now I'm used to it and really digging these kicks.
