I've enjoyed his skating from the moment I was introduced to it, but I became a fan when he was down here for a demo/jam thing we had a few years ago. Our public bowl has some pretty gnarly parts to it, and I've seen plenty of pros have to spend time figuring out the lines in it (it's a really organic jumble of different transitions, pockets and corners, etc).
Brent is one of four dudes (TNT, Childress, and Benji Galloway being the others) that just hopped in and seemed to know every line in there (and even find some that we didn't think of ) right off the bat. Also, he does that crazy fucking ollie into an ollie thing sometimes... I don't personally think there's anything fake about the way he carries himself on board, his skating is just inhumanly bouncy and light footed.
Hard to explain some of the shit he did... but there were so many times where I thought he was casually setting up get fucked up on a trick only to see him bounce out of a precarious position and hop in the transition like nothing- as smooth as fuck, too. I put his flow and the effortless way he rolls to Ray Barbee's Ban This part. If that makes any sense. Weird comparison, but same sort of vibe.
