some of this shit this guy put out in the past in regarsd to his not moving hsi arms style made me think he was worse than chaz orteez or felipe gustavo. Thats what i was thinking going into the video

however the video was rad didnt really detect any "im going to try to not move my arms at all" style

Right after posting the career bit, I sort of realized that no skateboarders really make careers these days aside from the contest savvy. I'm trying to see some street skating from this guy.

man, anyone remember the Barker Barrett Profile in 411? I had it when it was new, can't remember what number it was.

I am a big fan of this guys skating but I wish so much that he stayed on Blueprint. If Dan McGee was directing this dude it would have been magic. And I know what you are thinking, 'skaters should direct themselves'. Well, there is truth to that but it doesn't hurt to bring them to spots with certain aesthetics. I read in an interview that Coakley made an effort to mostly skate Boston House Spots. Imagine this guys footage on all interesting looking street tranny and 70s style skateparks (or something like that).

Really like this guy's skating. Also wished he stayed on blueprint. I never thought his style was particularly 'fake', but his lack of arm movement is unusual, and looks hard to keep up, so its natural to suppose it 'forced'. But even if it's forced, is it fake? Suppose I can do yo-flips more naturally than normal looking tres-- no one would call the normal ones fake even though I'm forcing them. All of this is to say, just because a style looks unfamiliar, we shouldnt assume its 'fake'. Regardless, ben is rad
