Element is a subsidiary of a public company, BILLABONG INTL. As of Monday Oct 16 the common stock was going for 11.65 per share. It's traded over the counter so unfortunately we can't get an hour-by-hour feel for how the announcement of Tony T's new pro status affected the stock price but maybe by next monday the markets will have digested this news and we can see whether Element's cost-cutting strategies have borne fruit, since you'd assume cutting colt and jake's paychecks in favor of Tave's most likely smaller check would free up some scrilla

It's been a little over one week since TONY TAVE or TNT as I like to call him was announced as a pro for element, subsidiary of billabong (http://finance.yahoo.com/q?s=BLLAF.PK) and as we see here as of Oct. 23 Billabong was trading at $12.17, so as far as the market is concerned Tave going pro is a good thing, so far. but remember Element also picked up chad timtim and mike barker, so it may be difficult to say if the 4.3% increase was attributable entirely to the Tave announcement

let's keep an eye on this situation and see how things develop why not

After the TimTim and Barker announcement I was skeptical about purchasing additional shares of Billabong however after Jeremy's performance at GvR I decided to kick down some cash and bought 150 additional shares.  Hopefully the price will continue to rise after Nov. 1st when Tave is officially pro and the next Element promo video drops with Tave's full part.

Now that I think about it... Billabong shares should go up even more after Jeremy's video drops next month.  Especially since it's the Xmas time and kids are going to be begging for Billabong gear after seeing that video.  Combine that with Tave's pro model and you're bound to make out like a bandit.

Check that Billabong sticker placement! Cha ching!

"looke like dude was on ice" as in smooth, just sliding around, or as in meth?
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”
I quit skating for a time due to piling out
