My little tribute, sorry if it's too sappy/heavy. Also FYI my song is not about Marc but it is dedicated to him for whatever that's worth.

From the description:
There was an interview, maybe on his Wikipedia, where Marc quoted Leonardo Da Vinci in reference to people being conduits for inspiration, that we're transmitting what's already there. I found it to be profound and one of the many reasons I looked up to the man as an artist and mind. I started writing this song right around when MJ passed and found out about it about a week after. The Carolina part was written at the very beginning, almost immediately, which coincidentally is where MJ was born.

I'm not saying there's any connection or greater meaning to any of this, but I would definitely like there to be. I would like to believe he threw me a song and went around inspiring people as he made his way upstairs.
