Chet Childress off Nike?

I saw him on Go Skate Day, and he was wearing some pair of what looked like vans slip ons. I didn't ask him about it, but it appears as if he was off Nike. Any thoughts?

I don't anyone is claiming he left Nike, just saying he may've gotten the boot, which I doubt.

Even in one of his timeline things in Skateboard Mag (I think that is who does it), he credits Nike as one of the smartest things he's ever joined. Plus his last Nike part was sick as hell.

I would be willing to bet a new board that all the people saying Chet sucks couldn't do one thing in that video at Burnside!! I am sure they could do it on their cities 3ft wooden skate park though ha ha

Have to agree. Slept on them when they were first originally released, and when I wanted a pair, they were discontinued. Time to make up for past mistakes!
