And it got me thinking. How many tricks are there in skateboarding, total? For example, you can kickflip in 4 different stances but then there's several variations of those, fs flip, bs flip, ss bs flip, ss fs flip etc. The list of tricks could be endless right, or is it? Discuss.

I think that would depend a lot on what you consider a trick. Are 900 flips a trick? What about crail melon grabs, or grabbing your board multiple times in one air? If you quickly double tap your wheels on the deck during a rock to fakie, is that a different trick? How about if I were to flick my shoes off mid kickflip and land in my socks, like Trappasso?

its like 12 standard flip tricks (no 360 hardflips, pop shuv late flips and shit like that)
then if you include just 180s to all those tricks thats 12 x 2
you can then do those 24 tricks 4 different ways (fakie, regular, nollie, switch)
so thats 96 flatground tricks
maybe minus a few cause i don't really see people doin 360 front shove body varials.

trick combinations are infinite, that is why skateboarding is so much cooler then anything else. snowboarding, skiing, bikes, scooters, rollerblades etc
